Thanks. Its been a long 3 weeks trust me, but we are finally here. Now for the frame which we should have by this time next week.

Its 38sq which i don't really consider big. The display home Petar has is 50sq and that is big. Its a shame Mines Subsidence wouldn't let us build this house much bigger. The bank is glad though hehe

38sq is largish by most people's standards! ;)

With any luck our frame will be delivered today :D The plumber should have some more work completed now, will see what he has done tomorrow

Off to the Dulux trade centre tomorrow morning to get some colours sorted out.

I wont go saying to much about mother nature right now ;)

And last but not least, our new car must be hating us right now as its not even 2 weeks old and has 1000klms on it and a chip in the windscreen already :(

Well, more has certainly happened in the last few days. The frame was 80% complete on Saturday with only 2 walls of the garage and the roof trusses needing to go up. Some pics we took on Saturday

Our front door

The front of the study

Our kitchen, dining, living and alfresco areas

Our hallway will look amazing once all the plaster has gone in

Bazdaric Homes had their guys on site today and the roof trusses were lifted up onto the frame by crane this morning. Our windows have also been delivered and should have been installed today :D Sandy sent me some pics but i will wait till we get the completed ones

More pics to come after this weekend :P

Michelle, sorry our replies have been really slow. Given there has been quite a bit of movement on the build we have been pretty busy with getting other things sorted.

We have had a look at your colours for render and in real life they were a little light. They did however lead us to a colour which is being very seriously considered and that's Camel Train. I really like it, i just need to get Andrea across the line :D Do you think it will work?

Those are old pictures, we are now 50% bricked and have gutters and facias. Plumbing is done, electricals have started. Tiles are now ordered, kitchen is almost there....

Brickies may have been on site this morning, not sure though. Apparently they only stop for heavy rain and dont mind working in muddy conditions so who knows if they have been today nor not.....

The roofers were due to start today but i am not sure if that has happened yet. My spies havent been to the house to confirm ;)

I will get some pics up tonight of where the house was up to as of yesterday. May even have some pics from this afternoon if bro in law has had a chance to call by after work
