not sure what were going to do between the garages :th: the fall is bigger than we expected, and really I have no idea what were allowed to do. the neighbors garage is to the boundry and theres about 1m between us.

Looks like they have a retaining wall beyond the brick garage so I'd just back fill it to make it level. Your neighbors should probably waterproof their brickwork first though. Post your scenario on the landscaping thread (is there even one???) and I'm sure someone will confirm this or not.

I have the Boral Domino as well. They look good, however make sure if you have any render or when they do the driveway they do not splatter anything on the brick.

It is hard to clean the brick (with high pressure) due the the black colour is just a layer and the actual birck is brown behind it.

bricks are finished :z: , just waiting on the cement sheeting to finish the facade, not sure when that will happen? :th:
plastering has been completed on BurbanksMy Place so Im thinking lockup soon?
Ive noticed a couple of issues with the bricks overhanging the slab..is this normal? theyve chucked a couple of bricks under the gap looks like to hold them in place? the photo dosnt really show it.
[ img ]

I cant believe how small the gap is here! im not sure what sized people are supposed to use this as an entrance to the house ::sad:: going to have to extend our steps so that people can get to the front door without breathing in!
[ img ]
anyways, still very happy with our progress and looking forward to what this week will bring!

Hi j!
I can tell by the neatness of the brickies work that they dont want too clean these bricks too much! luckly its only 1 wall of them. they do look great! wish we couldve done the whole house with them.

Was the front porch like that in the display home and on the plans?

I'm off to check our plans as the home we are building doesn't have a display home yet.

when we went to the display you entered from the other side of the porch, so didnt notice the small gap :( it also was a smaller version of our house so not even sure if it had the same front? cant remember ::dizzy:: itl be ok just going to extend the front so we can walk around, were planing on doing steps up to the entrance from the front path for visitors so they wont be effected ::smile:: . stace!!! why are you not showing me moved in pics yet? im waiting!
:x] just some more pics of my house... for those not part of neighborhood watch
did anyone notice im a bit obsessed!

Well we have some news to post now so stand by! Lately it's bad bad bad so we haven't been to look at the house ::sad:: Our admin chic didn't return any of hubby's msgs for a week and a half finally I chose to ring our previous admin lady to explain/dob and hubby got a phone call that afternoon from her.

Your house is looking great! And big!
