Well a day after putting down the $750 I have been contacted by our Eden Brae client manager and have booked in a day in January 2012 to sit down and be presented with the tender.

Also meeting with the mortgage broker today to finalise everything

Yes I am sure there will be problems, hiccups and suprises along the way happy to keep everyone informed.

Foxley is a nice design should give us everything we need, one of the first where we didnt really make many changes. Only thing really look at changing was doors from garage to entry rather than outside.

Yes that is also a good design, thats the 2 squares for $2,000 or something?

I have been advised that there should be price rise in January and a different promotion so not sure if you have locked in or something else may take it's place. Or that can be just salesman speak etc so no-one will ever know!

Yeh they said the same thing to us... When we were looking earlier inthe year they said they were about to change their packages... Prices were going to go up and blah blah... They were right... But the package was about 5 times better lol

We are def having internal access also, i dont know why they would have a door going outside any way lol... We r putting a roller door there instead and a door to hallway

Yes we were looking at start of the year around Jan/Feb when they had a package on I think it was the 1,2,3 package. Now its the $1 package etc. Sure there will be another one soon but decided to just dive in and start the process.

Looks great Live. Great that it is finally close enough to touch. I look forward to watching your build. I wonder if you will be in by next Christmas? Our timeline of start was similar but we didn't get in before Christmas. I hope you do. Next Christmas should be great with the park and landscaping all done.

Thanks Ferny, we are hoping by next Christmas, we haven't had too many changes and nothing out of the ordinary so hoping the build time isn't as long as some of the others but time will tell.

Can't wait for the park, 4wd new carpark and access etc etc to all be done much more of a friendly family atmosphere to be had

Thanks for choosing my post willsth45 to spam the Ebooks message.

Unfortunately Im not in any of this to make a profit, simply do what others did for me and answer questions and bring a bit more certainty and structure to the building process.

I work in construction industry so already have a bit of a headstart so just hoping I can help others.

My ebook will have to wait sorry! ::lol::

Hi live, my wife and I also just put a deposit down for the Cremorne 41. We're building in Harrington Grove Estate (Sydney, NSW), we're going with the Essential Package along with other special promotions and the $1 promotions.

Our block is pretty flat so hopefully the price he gave us including all the promotions and extras will be similar to the tender price (fingers crossed)!

Congratulations impressions! Cremorne lovely home and Harrington Grove such a nice area.

Our block is also very flat so heres hoping. They are doing the tests etc now deposits paid.

Have you been locked in for a tender date or anything?

I'll keep you updated by this thread and my blog as things transpire be good to compare/keep updated along the way for site costs and the rest of the jazz.

I'm heading down to the public home options gallery for Eden Brae at start of January to check out all the selections etc prior to tender just to have a bit of a gander!

Hi live, Fern Bay is a nice place hehe right next to the beach!

We're going through the house and finalise on what we need in early January.

I am assuming your area would be saline soil as well? Did they price you the additional 5k for the H-class slab?

So you've paid the $2500 deposit as well? or only the $750?

The annoying thing is that the Harrington Grove Estate requires specific acoustic designs, this will probably set me back a few thousand...

Thank you yes the dunes and beach was one of the drawcards!

Ah sounds nice fresh mind after the holidays!

I thought the same about the saline soil as well but apparently not how they have cut into the dunes and recreated the lots with soil etc. I can confirm tomorrow when I get to work as I have information on a few other houses that have been built so will try and look into it.

We have only paid the $750 and locked in our tender presentation for 23rd January so will know for sure then but I am confident I will be able to find out beforehand.

Yes Seaside Fern Bay has a efw estate requirements as well but nothing too drastic I dont think. Everyone has have the same color fences etc. Colors etc are all needing to be approved by the developer. Because the estate is entirely fibre no antennas on roofs etc and there are certain restrictions on vehicle sizes on streets and where boats can be stored etc etc just the little things!
