I'll have to keenly follow how you go with this. I originally wanted to build a Lexi 3, but land price for a 14m front, and then Henley's costs (Salesperson: "to get the inclusions is $2,xxx"... Me, in my head: "wtf, then how are they 'inclusions'!?") unfortunately went over my budget, even with a Mode 3, by about $20,000.

I've instead gone with a Met. Delta 21, a very different design to the Lexi/Mode - but I'd be keen to see one as it goes up.

Awww that really sucks that people would do that!!
The PCI was really good it's nice to see everything finished after being locked out for so long. Your house is looking great! From the pics on your blog I know where it is :) used to be able to see it from my house until they started building the double storeys at the roundabout :) we're looking at moving in next Thursday as long as everything is fixed. Just need to get a move on with fencing and driveways now but it's been a pain in the butt getting quotes!

Have you found a concreter or fencer? We got a quote from one concreter but haven't met yet to confirm the quote but said he could do aggrogate or stencil for udner $3k.

Do you have any pics of your place? Where about did you say your house is??

Hi Guys,

Myself and my partner are building in Stage 3 (Orion Drive)
We are building with 8 Homes, so far so good.

I was told that for color-bond fencing on a property size of 14x32 would be around the $2k mark, however this would be split between your neighbours. Note that some lots on the boundaries have the rear fencing included in the land price.

Concreting was included in our package price for around $4k on standard setback.

Hope this helps.

Hi James86,

thanks for the feedback.

I have not moved yet. Did the final inspection 2 weeks ago and waiting until the builder fix those issues.

Hopefully will be able to move in two or three weeks time.

Hi nashvilleblue! Welcome and I look forward to following your build on your blog.

We moved into Hermes Ave about 4 weeks ago and its great! This is our first home and like you Im from Australia and lived in San Francisco for 18 yrs where I met me hubby and had our daughter in 2009 and moved to Australia in April 2010. We stayed with my folks in Wantirna for 2 yrs (thankfully for all parties the house finished).

Block party would be great in the warmer non muddy months- maybe at the park which they hope to have completed in September?!
