Great to see all your bricks!!! If Caz visits your thread, she will be very impressed with your photos and the cloud shots! Stunning!

On our plan's its a beast though - the house takes up most of the cottage block, back yards more like a small courtyard - poor doggy, at least she will get the run down the side of the house and front garden when we're home (going to put a gate up at the top of the stairs).
I laughed at this...we say we have a big yard for our dog...a nice big Golden Retriever...who uses ZILCH of the backyard! Hangs out by the garage roller door when we aren't home, only to run to the sliding door when we get home, then to lay inside whilst we are home! This won't change when the yard is bigger when we move into the house! He does have a run in the park when we walk him, but rarely will he make use of the lawn and backyard in our place! LAZY! We could live with the tiniest of courtyards and he would still only use 1/4 of it!
Can't wait to see the current photos...just know the bricks would have started! No delays for YOU!

It looks brilliant! Congrats on the slab! I know how you felt about the tap - I found one on our block the other day and it was the most exciting thing ever! Though I can imagine that finding a slab and then bricks is even better can't wait to read more!
JJ's, I know how you mean about the house being imaginary....people keep asking where I live and I have to explain that I'm building and living nowhere near where my house will be....turns into a long explanation that no one really cares about...like this one...

So it's been a week or so and already we nearly have all our external walls.. going out again today and think I'll probably have another update with more internal walls so hold for that!
..Piccies speak a thousand words anyway, here they are there's only a few because it was getting dark and couldn't see too much - that drive from perth out to the swan valley after work really doesn't leave much time haha! (At least soon that drive will be me getting home from work )

wish we did a glass splashback!! At Cele's it was an upgrade cost so we just stuck with white tiles - simple still looks good though so should look pretty good
We should be at lockup now - haven't been out this weekend yet because we had a wedding yesterday so it's been a busy one!
Hopefully we will get a date to meet the supervisor and get a move in date - haven't got one yet but I don't think we are too far off - hoping a few months max, paying rent on this place and mortgage on that one is getting harder as the stages progress.

ooooh lockup!!!!!
so good that its done, but then locked out and can't see things
glass splashback was an upgrade for us too, luckily Daniel liked them once he realised it would mean no grout to clean
the white tiles will look great too though. i sacrificed the feature strip tiles we had selected to the bathroom (i did keep the 200 x 400 tile even though it was slightly more to lay) so i could get all our kitchen upgrades (i'm not even going to add up the items on our prestart costing relating to the kitchen.... i don't want to know!) so we are having plain white tile and brown floor. Daniel was concerned about this thinking it would look too plain! i was like i'll put a vase or a flower or something in there to make it pretty if you are worried! He was like this
