Hello,
Well Jan 20 is PCI day!! It's booked for 3pm we drove past before and it looks amazing.
We also have the concrete guy and another guy coming to quote for blinds as Vista quoted $6,000 for day/ night in bedrooms and just days for the other spaces that's also with a 35% discount. Hubby and I aren't so sure so we are getting another two people out to quote.
We are off to Adelaide tomorrow night till Monday morning, figure we might as well go see hubby's family as we don't know how long the house and setting it up is going to tie us down.
Went for a job interview yesterday with the CFA fingers crossed I get it as it would really be perfect.
So frustrating being on the iPhone as I can't share images.
Will let you know how we get on tomorrow at the PCI meeting.

Oh and yeah they are paying for the containers storages costs for the week and we will go stay at dads for 4 nights I'm over motels/ hotels I need some decent home food eg: veggies :)

YAY! Not long now... :) I know there is a few online blind places that work out a whole lot cheaper! Especially if you have standard size windows, but they do custom as well... search the forums, as this is where I found the links.

I also know spotlight have been recommended by many on here.

Where is the CFA job based? Burwood? Ballarat? Goodluck! I hope you get it. :)

Can't wait for the pic update... hope everything is smooth sailing from here for you babyb.

Jo x

Hi Jo,
Didn't think about spotlight.... Might see if there is one in Melton and see if they can quote next week...... Fingers crossed they are better then VicRoads Meltin as we went in there today for hubby to change his license from S.A to Vic and they had to make a booking ..... It's booked for Feburary 8th !!!!!

The CFA job is at Thier training school in Fiskville so it really would be a perfect job and very much the same work I did when work for Fac. medicine at UNSW. :) fingers crossed... Should know by Tuesday :)

I saw a job with the paramedics but it was for offices in the SE so just a little too far lolim keeping my ear to the ground :)

A bit TMI but I'm due on 'Moving day' Friday 27 Jan so will see.

When we were at the house measuring up our 920 front door and quickly realizing we will have to custom order a fly screen :/ we measured up the rear yard and all the retaining walls posts and timber ....... Let's just say 'cha-Ching' lol it will look great (I hope) as we have been growing agaves (got around 50) and yakkas (10) for the past year so we are going to put them in the two level retaining wall.

I'm still getting off the floor with your quote for the blinds...... eeeek! ::surprise:: I haven't gone there yet...probably should though I guess!

My SIL lives in Melton - I'll find out if she has any recommendations.

so we have unloaded one container when our SS comes on site and tells us that Plan Scan decided to take the long weekend and so we have NO official Certificate of Occupancy so they said they would do us a 'favour' by letting us unpack put sheets on the windows but then we have to go off site till Monday when they get the official paper. I am soooo angry, I can officially say I over it all, and just want my keys.
