Thanks Mike,
Took a while to get the plan right but hopefully have got it now. Bad luck if I didn't
Oh and I love Starz home, except she has a shoe room and I don't ::cry:: Doesn't really matter is I probably have less than 10 pairs of shoes, would be wasted on me :::
Bit like my kitchen, way to big for someone that doesn't cook, but hey it will look good ::lol::

Have been following your thread, love your plan, your ensuite is huge ::surprise:: and love the balcony front and back, will be great with all that land :z:

absolutely, Skype changes so much. Last week I was in USA for a week for work and missed my kids soooooooo much (DS 4.5years and DD 1.5years), and Skype was my saviour...

btw, I checked out Zen Homes website last night. Yep, crap website. Very slow / not good interface, and some of the designs weren't there. But I am still really interested so we are calling them next week. btw, is it a Chinese run company? Just wondering as the website has a chinese character in the company logo, and an Asian theme to all their designs... ????

Thanks for the comments Gogo :D Have to say Starz's house is probably my fave on here atm. I feel sure she is going to get lots of comments on THAT shoe room. Our WIR is pretty big to but alas I think we will still need to seperate some clothes to bed2  I've got motorcycle gear and stuff so that will be off limits to WIR i have been informed ::smile:: RE: Things too big for your needs- only 3 of us so I'm sure some people are cursing me for being a "planet wrecker" Hopefully I can make them feel at ease by putting solar panels on!
You'll have to let us know what your changing about your facade? I'm very curious

Hi T,
I can't imagine leaving my kids when they are so young it must be so hard, but yep Skype is good. I went to Europe twice last year for work and skyped my kids nearly every day. I think I saw more of them on Skype that when they are at home in their rooms ::surprise:: Mind you the most I have been away is 3 weeks so 7 weeks will be forever ::sad::

As for Zen, they are 2 Aussie guys, their draftsmen is Asian (??Malaysian) and I think they have used that as their influence for the company ::wink:: Have been telling them to upgrade that crap website, ::hyst::

Yeah I agree, Starz' home is gorgeous, beautiful features and great use of space ::kissed::

Oh I'm glad your other half wont allow all that dirty motorcycle gear in her lovley new huge WIR. Geez I dont think I would let it come upstairs :::

We have just added a couple of windows and made the portico step out a bit.
As most of the house is brick with only rendered features, we originally had the portico and lounge window rendered and the garage and bed 4 was brick, I just thought it was not balanced , so played with it a bit, I have a new drawing will download it.

Here you go ::lol::
The only change to this is directly above front entrance will be brick not cladding (around the void window)

Nice work Gogo :D Yay for natural light in your WIR! Your first facade pic had stack stone looking trim on garage edging and pier. Are you still doing this or render (apart from brick infills) instead?

Just realised you've brought your portico out further so two piers now. Do like this better! I am biased however - really like dual piers!

We are actually deciding between stack stone and maybe tiles, a few homes here now feature tiling which looks fantastic.
Will probably just render to start with and do after handover.

Yes bringing the portico out was the main change and adding the windows, hopefully will look more balanced :th:

Hi Gogo. Just popping in to say luv your plan! nice open spaces, especially your huge lounge meals area. It is kind of similar to Starz (based on Vaucluse like ours but which we hardly did anything to!). Your facade is great too! Can't wait to see your colours and will be definately watching with interest.

Hi Gogo. I don't mean to hijack your thread  but thought I needed to correct myself about starz house. I said it was based in the Vaucluse but I was thinking of someone else! Major brain fade ::: Starz's is obviously an awesome custom design and Larah1 who I was thinking of did an amazing job of reconfiguring the Vaucluse, so similar facade is about the only thing in common with mine!
Sorry again about the hijack! Just thought I should correct myself! I'm backing away from the computer now....
