Hey Tinks!

Do you have an updated pic of your timber floors? They look pretty sweet from the unfinished pics:

What are they and where from?

Hi tinkster your house looks great, takes the shine off a bit when you have the issues we all have had with switch, but I can say we do have a lovely home and it is very different to most plans out there which is great. Love that seductive limba crystal gloss cupboard think I might have seen it somewhere else oops that would be my house. Well you wont believe it but we are going to put our house here on the market around the end of may and are going to build another house up in Geraldton, hoping this builder lives up to his reputation. Hope all goes well for you Kazzbah.

Thanks kazzbah! I keep meaning to come back and do a "all moved in" post, maybe tomorrow!

I think brian was getting commission for the seductive limba, timpen has it too!

Good luck with the move and new build, I'm so not ready to do it again yet!!

Wow your house is AMAZING!
Tell me more about your shower niches.
Did the builders tile it and slope it slightly for water drainage? Did you have to specify that?
I'm a bit worried that mine won't be done like that.

Thanks! It does have a slight grade so it drains out and the tiler didn't need to be told, all he asked me was which way to do the feature tiles.

Hi tinkster let me know how much you love your flooring, looking at it for our new build everyone in Geraldton seems to have it. We sold our home in about 17hrs didn't even have it's first home open so now we are on the build again this time with Redink fingers crossed all goes well with this build. Now I have to start making choices again let the games begin hahah so to speak.

Kazzbah- I LOVE my flooring! It doesn't show dirt, it's tough, it looks as good today as it did 6 months ago. There are a few places where it's been scratched- the fridge going in and one from something else but you have to get down on hands and knees to see it. My kids give it a really hard time, cars, scooters etc and it looks great still.

Good luck with the new build! I couldn't go back just yet!

Duvaldreamer- I'd love to tell you that's unusual but it's not. It took months and months for us to get the final few things done at ours. The silicone around the ensuite spa and cabinetry was only done last month and we got keys in December. The communication at switch is abysmal, the follow up terrible.

Having said that, the house is great, we've had no major issues at all.
Good luck

For anyone else reading I'm planning to do a moved in update within the next few weeks. :).
