TIA Pos This is the company that our concrete came from. I went and had a look at their display wall of mixes. The exposed mix we used was a standard (Victoria) but with less black stones. I think the guy said 60/40 mix instead of a 50/50. I can't remember what the concreters company name was. His name I think was Antony. I thought it was MRA concrete but I can't find a number for them. Maybe the guy (Bob I think) at Midway will know. Hope this helps. Hi kt, no we are moving to point cook, kingsford. So kind of in the same location. It's fun but time-consuming researching for fences, driveway, lighting (china mans hats don't do it for me ) Thanks for the contact details, I will look into it! Pos Re: Carter’s-DFH Charlton - Keys today 15/4 605Apr 15, 2011 9:26 pm We received our keys today. So it is all ours now. Curtains and blinds are up. Happy with them all. DH and DS are sleeping there tonight. We hired a small combi sized van for the weekend so we can move some bulky items, but will leave the large ones for a removalist. We took over the old fridge tonight and a bed so someone can stay till we move in proper. I will move a lot of the smaller items each day. I will put up some photos when we get a bit more settled or I get a bit more time. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. Love the blue splash back. Love the tone you chose. I really like the 1st lot of curtains in the photos. Do you feel at home? It is starting to feel like home. The splashback keeps coming up as a blue, blue in pics, but is more of a torquoise. Can't seem to get a better colour on screen. buildingwest Kaytee, the house is looking great. Thanks for taking the time to remember us pic piggies. Not a problem. I should have done them sooner. brb_654 I've been waiting to see your curtains and blinds, well worth the wait, they look fantastic love the colours you have used for them too!! The De Longi kettle and toaster look fabulous against the splashback, what a great gift your kids given you!! Good job, with the driveway and letterbox! Look forward to seeing more photos I'm glad the wait was worth it. I'm happy with the curtains and blinds. Not un-similar to your blinds. boiselfish Wowie! Looking good! Who did the letterbox? Letterbox was done by a gent from the Grey Army. Cost a leg and an arm though. We wanted a brick or rendered one so we must pay the price. At least is shouldn't get stolen. kiwi is that computer where you sit and chat to us? what is with the radio on the bench..how old is that!!?? time for an ipod with some speakers chick are you happy? do you love it? curtains look fab My computer is the one with the granny rug on the chair and screen on. So yes, it is my chatty computer spot. Now MISS KIWI, I'll have you know, that radio is a digital one. Brand new from one son for Xmas. So it does not need upgrading to an I-Pod. I previously had an old one that I bought when I first came to OZ 35 years ago. It is destined for the bin. I'm happy with the house but as there isn't so much wasted space in the kitchen/family/meals room it feels a little cramped, but I guess I will get used to it.
