YIPPEE!! 84May 07, 2010 8:42 pm Hi Jessie, It's great to see your house coming along so well after that initial wait. It looks like you still have a nice size back yard, looking through your sliding doors. I completely understand your excitement. I remember clearly when I first saw our windows put in and when DH looked at me suprised, wondering why I was so excited. At least on H1 I know other people get it. Hope you find that perfect dress too, but don't let it become the be all and end all. At the end of the day, it is you and your husband to be that matter. Enjoy the process. YIPPEE!! 86May 08, 2010 12:30 am Taking more photos tomorrow It looks like a bomb has hit it (all the rubbish). Now I know people dump but the guy accross from us took it to the exteme. The whole bin was full even before Fairmonts put anything in it. So they dont have room and they have put the rubbish all over the place. It just angers me to think that people think they have the right to do that. GRRR Not happy Jan! Re: Jessica Golden Grove, we have roof tiles! YIPPEE!! 87May 09, 2010 1:03 am More pics, they did more on Friday. So they just have to do the side where the bathroom and bedroom 2 and 4 are I think he is proud How cute http://i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz164/jessie87_2010/DSC01509.jpg http://i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz164/jessie87_2010/DSC01492.jpg http://i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz164/jessie87_2010/DSC01451.jpg http://i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz164/jessie87_2010/DSC01453.jpg Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Jessica SA more pics :) 88May 10, 2010 12:11 pm Wow! seems to be coming along SO fast! Thanks Yeh it was a massive selling point that it was high up and we are on a quiet street. hopefully brings soon... fingers crossed Re: Jessica SA Need advice regarding some tiles on our roof 90May 11, 2010 1:29 am Just wondering whether you think we should bring this up.... They are quite a bit different compared to the rest of the roof, but particulary the ones up top on the left. What do you think? Is the something would come off with rain because I was thinking it could be from the capping but it was like that before they did that..... I reckon you will move pretty quick. When is your contract completion date? Our is July 30th but with painter due this week (so we are told), Alex says we should only be 4 weeks away. Re: Jessica SA Need advice regarding some tiles on our roof 92May 11, 2010 7:56 am I don't know Jessie - they kind of look like they are just a bit dirty- like they were at the top/bottom of the pile. Re: Jessica SA Need advice regarding some tiles on our roof 93May 11, 2010 11:10 am yeh thats what i thought, because a lot of them have dirty marks was just worried about the 6 or so that is practically the whole tiles Re: Jessica SA Need advice regarding some tiles on our roof 94May 11, 2010 10:41 pm They ordered another skip today and cleaned the site up YAY Re: Jessica SA more pics :) 95May 12, 2010 12:09 am wombat jessie87 stegosaurus Wow! seems to be coming along SO fast! Our completion date is September 20th..... wonder if we will get in earlier? Re: Jessica SA Ashbourne, roof done! 96May 13, 2010 5:01 pm Hey Jess it looks fantastic. They don’t stock Shannon Oak anymore which is what we chose. So I would like some help with what you think would look best Option 1, overhead cupboards senosan (beige/gold shimmer) and choose a gloss laminate like the Shannon oak but different and keep with the stone bench top Option 2, overhead cupboards senosan (beige/gold shimmer) and have burnished wood for the rest of the cupboard but also have that as the island bench but with slab ends. My only concern with choosing burnished wood is that the burnished wood is a matt laminate and the senosan is high gloss and not sure if that would look weird? Do you have to stay with the same laminate brand - Laminex Smoky Sapelle or Blackened Limewood in a Crystal Gloss finish would be similar to Shannon Oak I think ? Other than that, I'd try and stick with all one style, I agree that mixing matt and gloss might look a bit odd Re: Jessica, thoughts please, colour for kitchen discontinue 100May 18, 2010 5:03 pm yeh thats what I though. My fiance found another colour Laminex gloss Nocturne, but the kitchen place is finding out if we can use it as doors. I will have a look at Laminex Smoky Sapelle or Blackened Limewood. Thanks for your suggestions Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 2990 Joe, it depends on your certifier but we are noticing the ones we deal with are really cracking down. So i would recommend you follow your approved landscaping plans to… 4 11096 Congratulations! Nice to put that to bed before christmas, now you can relax 3 7257 |
