All of a sudden it's real-this is actually happening-you will have a house to live in! For us, to see anything happening at all feels like a miracle, for a long time it looked like we were never going to get the house at all, even now I think we only just scrapped through. We had so many dramas that we had pretty much given up, my girlfriend had given up, but I’m the sort of person that if told I can’t do something, just makes me more determined to do it, so I kept trying, now look where we are. It feels so great to know that by the end of the year we will no longer be paying rent and that we can do what we want to the house, despite all the blood, sweat and tears (and I mean that literally), it will all be worth it. andy&meredith Looks fantastic wizard! And now I see my frame this week and it almost does'nt feel like mine, more like a mirage! You should have seen the look on her face when she realised what I meant. The funniest part about it was that my GF played along with it, for about 30 seconds, this poor woman thought I was serious and that I was some sort of monster . This just had me in tears. Absolutely HILARIOUS. (DH and DD thought it was good too). I wish I had a good enough poker face to do stuff like that....funny thing is with five kids (I know, I know, I need a tv) I don't need the chain...I am there already, which is why I am so particular about what my new kitchen will be! BTW Wizard, love your planned uses of the rooms and changes to the design. I understand your excitement at the progress. Might start calling her ‘mop’ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Another thing we noticed while we were there is that our frame for our front door was incorrect, the frame was still sitting beside our bin at the front of the lot, we noticed that it was the incorrect size as we have ordered a wider and higher door and the frame that was sitting there was for a standard door size. The GF went out there today and said the new frame had been delivered.
