I'd like to install a timber deck on the front porch and the outdoor alfresco, grass in the backyard and maybe some plants on the 2 sides of the house. Thanks. If anyone interested you can inbox and I will give you details Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5725May 21, 2014 1:27 pm Hi everyone Congratulations to those recently in their new house! We bought as part of the Greenway release and looks like that land is pretty much ready to go! Hoping it's sitting with council at the moment! Just a quick question that I know has been discussed on this forum, in regards to landscaping plans - how strict are they? My brother is an architect and I am hoping he can create something that council and the developers will approve. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5735May 30, 2014 10:03 am Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has any good bobcat operator contacts?? We need to clear the side and front of our house, preferrably someone who takes away the dirt as part of the service. We are having trouble getting anyone to get back to us who isnt charging insane prices, and our last guy has let us down twice now. Any contacts who have done a good job would be greatly appreciated. Cheers all!! Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5736May 31, 2014 9:57 pm Hi all, Just thought I'd introduce myself after lurking around the forum for the past month... My wife and I deposited today in the Greenway release Lot 5550. Very excited and now start the daunting tasks of nailing down a builder and ideal floorplan. Found this forum a very useful resource to date. Cheers, Namrof Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5737Jun 01, 2014 4:21 pm namrof Hi all, Just thought I'd introduce myself after lurking around the forum for the past month... On another note, I finally drove onto our street since the gates were open. Not much longer to go Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5738Jun 02, 2014 7:48 am kesrob Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has any good bobcat operator contacts?? Cheers all!! Hi Kesrob, I had a bloke excavate (level really) as well as take away a truck load of rubble, plus he got in two loads of soil for turf - all for just under $2k. He was there for a whole Saturday on his own with his own reliable equipment. It was about 200m2. I don't have his contact details anymore, however to give you a rough idea of costs: - Bobcat / hour: $140 or so - Take away rubble: $400 / load - Load of dirt: $200 / load. Mind you I didn't ask around too much as I needed someone to do it quickly. Hope this assists in some way. Anyone who has built able to share info regarding the security alarm they supply as standard. Being told it is called Ness navigator. Not sure what it is capable of or do I need to upgrade? Googling did not help much. Any insights would be helpful. Thanks Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5740Jun 05, 2014 6:19 pm Hi Canucks23, I was able to drive down our street last Saturday after depositing on our block. Which builder are you going with? We are still deciding on a builder ourselves - Wisdom, Rawson and Clarendon are the frontrunners so far.
