Has anyone got the ground work done themselves (just the cut and fill)? If so did this save much over the builders quote? We had a previous quote and final costing last November (did not build as council rejected plans). These were similar in terms of cut and fill but $10,000 less which seems heck of a rise in less that 1 year. Any comments would be great. The block is in Adelaide if there are any recommendations of companies to use. I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this.
