guys, i contacted my CLE regarding site cost and she said "as you were a House & Land package, these prices cannot be disclosed to yourself nor can i advise you what has been spent". is this true? or it is just one way they are trying to get out of giving us a refund. also, i am not even sure ours is a house and land package. we did start of looking at house and land package but we ended up buying our land from third party, carlisle homes had nothing to do with this.
Hi Mr21.
I think, it's not longer a house and land package... it's a fixed site cost for your "new" land... You may find usefull to quote to your CLE the carlisle latest news & events. http://www.carlislehomes.com.au/about/n ... site-costs
I asked my CLE about the fixed price site cost and she said because we put our deposit down in 2011 and it only applicable to clients who put the deposit in 2012 only...refund of some of the site cost would've been great for the driveway.

Prepping the interior for a full shoot on Friday, here is a quick look at how our kitchen come up (never mind the clutter still finding places for things) and the plant is my wifes classroom pet lol.
Curtains in tomorrow, still waiting for our stupidly expensive dining suite and bar stools to arrive...stupid Australian made slowness. Start the front landscaping this weekend. Have a few things wrong but our brilliant SS made a trip out to rectify most and is rectifying the rest Thursday...I really hope Carlisle pay this guy more to keep him on, you cannot fault his work ethics.

Nice looking kitchen you have there. Did you extend the kitchen bench to the 1000mm and is your floor timber laminate or is it hardwood?
Fingers crossed, we will also build in Grand Lakes. I hope your good SS will also be the one assigned to us when that time comes.
Cheers.
It is timber laminate. It looks great too, I was a bit unsure when my wife decided she liked it at spectra, but am very happy with it. The kitchen, it is the standard bench size carlisle give which is 1000mm.
Ohh, let us know how you go re: grand lakes! We love it here, neighbours are so friendly AND they can speak english (unlike our tarneit neighbours).

CBPH,
your kitchen looks great! congrats! btw, i noticed your skirting has some "timber lining" (don't know what it's called).. i first noticed it in the baltimore display house but totally forgot to ask about it.. what is it called and is it an upgrade or did you install it yourselves?

Nah not upgrade, it is the cheap and easy way of laying laminate floors. means they dont have to rip skirting off. Some people do not like it, we couldn't understand why we do not even notice it lol. So yeah all standard buddy.
I don't cook but I don't mind learning just so I could spend more time in a kitchen like this. Love the subtle colour of your splashback. It blends in so well at the same time adds elegance to it.
