The Riverton is a fantastic design. Zerosignal is building the first Riverton on the forum! How come you dont like the facade? Is it too modern? There definitely are other facade options for you. Just go and ask Warren, there should be plenty of Riverton facades for you to choose from, ask Zerosignal. Why not go down to Officer and check out the other new T Range homes - for eg. Montana 29 and Genesis 26. Re: UPDATES: Carlisle Homes - General Information Thread 63Oct 05, 2009 7:08 pm Not sure why I don't like it. I don't hate it, and I could live in it. I think it looks a bit like a block set dropped on front of it. So are all the facades in the T range interchangeable?? Might go find Zerosignals thread! I am planning a trip out to officer soon, just got to find the time!!! I am planning a trip out to officer soon, just got to find the time!!! Thanks! Not sure if theyre all interchangeable.. for example I dont think a Madison facade will work on a Riverton house, as Madison I think has a robe on the facade side. But there probably are different facades for the Riverton design alone. From memory, Zerosignals facade is pretty identical to the MW display one. Carlisle just advised me that although the Oxford22 is designed for a 12.5m block, it wouldn't fit on my block w/c is 13.25m wide because it is a corner block and council requires 2m easement from the street... i am thinking, they should have realised this before we put in the $1K deposit... ahhhh.. now i'm scared.. any advice on this? i would loose 50mm of my garage.. i'm thinking of asking for compensation of some sort since a loss is a loss.... you reckon they would do my driveway for free Hmm... what kind of solution is Carlisle giving you?? To be honest, 5 cm off your garage will be no big deal.. I agree they should have told you this beforehand, didnt they look at all your land documents at sales? what they are proposing is to cut 50mm of the width of the garage... we'll discuss it this weekend and see if they can give me something in return.. Frosty use the following link to see what we have done with our facade. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23528 Overall though I would have prefered to have the facade that S&P has on the Atlantique - it is just we didn't need a 32sq house and the atlantique does not really maximise the value of our long block. I never did ask Carlisle if they could put that facade on the Riverton or a different one on it, there would not be many technical reasons why they couldn't I'd guess. I have a list of the facade options for the riverton handy still I believe. Hi we are also building the riverton, but do not start until feb/march. Warren was our sales rep and has been great all the way. Good communication and always got back to us with any enquiries we had. There are quite a few options to chose from with the riverton facades. The one you see a MW is the Nuovo Facade which is the standard option. All the other facades specifically designed for the Riverton cost more money. The one that we really liked was a $1500 upgrade, for minimal changes but it did have more render and different windows which we liked, but for $1500 we liked the standard facade enough to not change it. Hi guys, Hi S&P building ASTON26 with Carlisle... on Frame stage now draco76.. we also had the same issue, we shrink ours by 0.5m from alfresco to lounge because the length didn't fit our land (plus some council requirements). Carlisle gave us a credit back and the computation is based on the area taken off. Hope this helps Re: UPDATES: Carlisle Homes - General Information Thread 71Oct 06, 2009 11:17 am sanmark1 *frosty* I dropped into the Riverton 30 display at MW this weekend. Of the ones they provided it was the last on the list and it had 3 separate vertical windows on the master bedroom. I've got it at home, I just can't remember what it was called. Sorry! Have been looking around on tiles, interiors for inspiration Currently we are in a dilemma over tiles..opting to go for upgrade to Porcelain tiles..however are not able to decide whether to go for light ones as in the display house or go for a darker shade ( dont know how this will look) Light coloured tile definitely looks good but Iam afraid they can tend to look dirty and the grout too becomes black after some time..(have seen some display houses with the same problem) any advice anyone ??? Ive got white porcelain tiles..the mother of 'dirty and hard-to-clean tiles'!! White porcelain looks fabulous and everything..but are easily dirtied, even after a good mop. Any grout will get dirty, unless you choose a darker colour. Look around the PD, Carlisle and M websites to get some tile inspiration. Good luck!
