Hi, All
Has anybody used this product for render with paint included on last coat. Also would some one have an idea of the price to buy the product (20 KG bag) and secondly to have it completed.
Browse Forums Building A New House Re: unitex rendering 2Aug 30, 2009 8:54 pm Hey Sutto - my parents covered their entire house in Unitex. I've posted about it before (you should be able to search for the post) For lighter colours (e.g. similar to colorbond Dune, Surfmist, Windspray etc) - the colour seems to be fine. However, one wall of the house was done in a dark aubergine. The colour has faded really quickly (within 2 yrs to a terrible lavender colour - the wall gets morning sun only), Unitex aren't being very helpful on the warranty - claiming that they don't guarantee that the paint colour won't fade. They'll need to clean and re-paint. I have no idea on prices - they paid a contractor to do it. After 4 years - we're in! yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5334 |
