I am hoping someone can help me.
I have the following quote for Smartslat fencing;
1. double gate 2mx 1.5 high $1550
2. Single gate 1mx1.5 high $750
3. 1m gate x 1m high $500
4. 3m sliding gate 1m high $2200
5. 5.3m double gate 1m high $1550
6. 13m x 1m high
this is 80mm smart slat with 10mm gap
total $8550

I will obtain some quotes however I want to know if this is reasonable? I don't know anything about fencing. This seems like a lot of money for fencing.

The most expensive part of fencing are the gates, and you've got a lot of gates! I would get some other quotes to compare to.

We went through the same thing about 6 months ago . I love the look but at the end of the day, after 3 quotes, we thought it was just too expensive.

edit : sorry....those prices seem about right. It aint cheap stuff.

Yeah it is expensive for fencing!
I had a "genius" thought over the weekend.. gonna go with the smart slat to the sides of the home so that we have the security we need and not do the front fence. I figure, the front fencing serves no purpose, it's only a metre high and doesn't actually provide any kind of protection. It's only useful for keeping dogs out I suppose but then that is never an issue anyway.
