Looking good....i mean can you imagine the last time you were this happy to see mounds of dirt Ditto! and don't for get the pipes too! Your fascade is lovely YDG and your floorplan is good too. Did you make any changes to it or is what you posted the final floorplan? Re: My new place 6Jun 13, 2009 5:23 pm Hey, Yep, hope to have a slab soon. After all the paperwork, planning and decisions, it's good to have something tangible. It's going to be an exciting few months! Thanks thorney. I increased the size of the garage (and added rear doors). In the family room I changed the rear sliding door to a 3 panel and added double doors to BR1. Otherwise, it's the standard plan with an optional facade. Re: My new place - P7 It's mine! 8Jun 23, 2009 9:26 pm What a beauty YDG...despite the 7 day delay looks like your builder is on the ball. Some builders end up taking the entire month off Re: My new place 19Jul 05, 2009 5:05 pm thorney Great stuff YDG!! ....and considering the sh*tful weather we've had this week too! So how did it feel to walk through your home? Yeah, the weather has been rather poor! The builder has "used" 10 rain delays so far. My land is rather muddy at the moment, so I hope we have some nice weather this week. . . . I haven't really had a chance to do a walk through, but I did a drive-by today and noticed that the windows are in, and the roof trusses are up! Use a product like Equisol's Vitalise to clean the deck then coat with a penetrating timber oil. It will look 10 years younger and add value to your home. Visit for… 1 15884 Appreciate that Chippy. I won’t do sand under pavers and will connect all up under pavers, however I was going to do: 1) Roadbase compacted with manual hand tamper 2)… 10 18631 |
