Re: M3etricons Lindeman 27 2Feb 06, 2009 9:47 pm We built the Montego 28 with M3tricon (which they no longer do; it has now morphed in to the Talbot) but it is the same as the Lindeman except for the rumpus/outdoor room arrangement, which gives the Talbot an extra living area. We use the 'Childs Retreat' as a study.
Assuming you are from Melbourne, go and have a look at the Talbot display at Berwick and compare it to the Lindeman display at Pakenham. With the Talbot, you will have to extend the outdoor room though because it is basically just a porch. Re: M3etricons Lindeman 27 3Feb 09, 2009 11:48 am We are building the Lindeman 27 and I think the living area is a very good size. Well it's a hell of a lot bigger than I had in my previous house - especially if the kids are in the childrens retreat. However you should really look at the display in, Pakenham to decide if it is big enough for you.

Hey Adrian, thanks for getting back to me, I liked both the 27 and the 23, I must see the display in pakenham, it was only for 3 people so maybe the 23 would be better but there are no displays, please keep me posted, what stage are you at? and how have you found M3tricon are they ok builders? I love the talbot that is a great house, I think the best Re: M3etricons Lindeman 27 6Feb 10, 2009 8:08 am We are having our final inspection today at 11:00am!
I am getting a building inspector from, Final Inspect to have a look around. I am sure he will find some things, as no one is perfect. At the pre-plaster stage we had a building inspector and all the recommendations were done without any questions. So far everything has gone smoothly without too many problems. The speed at which the work has been done, has met my expectations. So overall I am happy - however I could change my tune later today, we'll see. We loved the, Montego until the changed the designed (this was before the Talbot I think). However we loved the Lindeman Alfresco more. Then we discovered the Santorini and that made things difficult to choose, as my wife really loved the storage space it has. However in the end we chose the Lindeman for the layout. We are currently renting a house about 2 blocks away from the display home in, Pakenham. Consequently we drive past it a lot. It's like teasing us all the time! Oh well - soon! Adrian T. Re: M3etricons Lindeman 27 7Feb 10, 2009 8:14 am We are building the L1ndeman 23 and have found M to be pretty good in terms of customer service. Definitely check out the display in Melbourne if you can.
Good luck Building Vancouver 33 - My Thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89689 Re: M3etricons Lindeman 27 8Feb 10, 2009 4:11 pm Ryan Oliver We are building the L1ndeman 23 and have found M to be pretty good in terms of customer service. Good luck How are is the main living area in the Lindeman 23 bigger than expected or smaller?? thanks Lina Re: M3etricons Lindeman 27 9Feb 10, 2009 9:09 pm It is smaller than the 27 coz it is an 'L' shape. We think it is ample, but have been living in a very small place. There are only two of us moving in. Even if you have kids though, there is still the child retreat for them.
