Love the bowl, guess what I have one exactly the same I also have 2 different shaped ones for salads & the salad servers. If you want any pm me as I got them wholesale so they will be a lot cheaper.
Love all your new things....
The curtains will look great have you picked the fabric yet?

Yep! & I'm pretty sure I'll be getting Glen to do them. I'm waiting on another quote, but will be surprised if it comes in cheaper than Glen's.
I've stayed with a stripe as originally posted waaaay back when, but the stripe is different. I'll see if it comes out in a pic & post it. A bit tricky with sheers

OK! The pic doesn't look too bad. It's pretty true-to-life. The background colour is eggshell & the fine stripes are ivory & taupe. It's a polyester though it shimmers like organza Very reasonably priced too.
I thought about doing it myself & paying my MIL to sew them up ( she offered ) so I got quotes from Adrian's & Furnish Your Dreams to supply the fabric only. I calculated that by doing it this way (with me doing the measuring, cutting, tacking, etc) I wouldn't be saving all that much.
So, I've put that idea aside & opted to have them done. 25 years ago, it would have been no big deal. I've done it before, but now the old body doesn't tolerate kneeling on hard surfaces That's my excuse, anyway

The smaller one is 29cm's & the larger one is 40cm's.
The curtains look beautiful, they will really suit that room. A friend of mine has built a house & she is also getting Glenn to do her blinds, he does go out of his way to help & his prices are good. We had curtains made for the rental that we were in & they were really well done, that was how I found him.
