Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 801Nov 18, 2016 7:29 am I didn't know my facade was extra for you. My office had yours and mine as standard and the rest we would have to pay for. Also I could have had brick pillars or wooden posts standard as well. Our standard was 160 x 160mm posts. It's strange seeing what offices give. Love the step down. So cool see my house in opposite. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 802Nov 18, 2016 8:05 am Finally got those pictures of my plans for you. I did a little video walking down the hallway and stepping down to try and give an idea of what it's going to feel like safe to say I'm in love!! Update from today's meeting was sheeting for the roof will happen Mon/tue the. Bricks arriving 24th then brickies to follow. Our eaves will be done as well. Once it's bricked we will go through again coz all the bracing will be taken down. Our front window was stolen so they've ordered and urgent replacement. Hopefully that will be in before Chrissy too. Given that our water meter and window have been nicked we won't have rough in until we go back. The copper won't last that long lol https://vimeo.com/192032059 Why you videoing the person videoing the frames Looking nice Kym..now bring on the roofs... Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 804Nov 19, 2016 8:20 am Haha coZ he goes into much detail and narrates. Lmao I just wanted to try and give a visual of the step down. Bahahahhaa Our site super was very impressed. He said it's nice up the top but when you step down it's amazing. I thought that was quite a compliment from someone that sees houses every day. Roof sheeting is monday/Tuesday Bricks delivered Thursday then we wait for brickies to finish the two homes across the road. That's it then till we get back from Christmas break. SS isn't keen to leave the copper pipes and the like in the house even when roughed in over the break. If someone will steal our watermeter out of the ground they will steal the pipes out of our house. - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 805Nov 19, 2016 8:20 am Thanks shell! I appreciate it so so much!! - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 818Nov 23, 2016 10:19 am I got the measurements, the main part of bedroom four for me is 2.6m wide x 3m long and the hallway section minus the robe is 0.9m wide by 1.7m long. I did have 0.5m added to the length of the rooms on that side which went to the main bedroom part. The measurements are inside walls to inside- so actual room size. Hope that helps. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 819Nov 23, 2016 11:30 am Thanks shell - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 820Nov 26, 2016 8:20 am So we've got a small delivery of bricks! We've also got some metal corner things by the looks of it and the cement. Latest update is they will start late next week with the bricking, continue the week after and eaves to follow. That should bring us up to the christmas break. Then its full steam ahead with rough ins and plaster and the rest I've already started to clean out the stuff we've accumulated since being in the flat. Towards the end of the christmas break i'll probably start to pack up what we don't need so its easy to do when its time to move so excited to start packing! lol - otherwise known as Kym - hi guys.
