I'm starting to see what I had in my mind now. I've done a closer pic of the nib wall in the main bathroom which juts onto the bench that's not completely level! What do you think? Ensuite feature tile is the same colour but is kinda criss cross textured - sorry I can't capture it. Looks lovely though. Thought I'd repost the pics I had to search through all the pet photos to refresh my memory! I have a suggestion ( but I am biased because it's what I am wanting for my house) how bout Solver White Cliffs? http://i1284.photobucket.com/albums/a565/speedwaychick68/6e4e29add40cb517db41894496986fd6_zps6838228a.jpg Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66620 Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 745Nov 05, 2014 12:28 am MalSannie I'm sorry I'm a bit clueless re the different colours too - my solution was sample paint and gyprock I'm considering white cliffs now too (from multiple threads on here!) Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 747Nov 05, 2014 12:35 am Happy belated birthday Rache Kitchen with White duck half or quarter could also be a goer....Looks great with white subways (I'm remembering Charnley's beautiful house on the forum last year...) or what about whisper white? someone needs sample pots Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 748Nov 05, 2014 12:38 am I think it is on the warm side, the blue in the chair is bouncing off nicely rather than blending in. Have a look at JCBISSOR thread she had some great shots of walls painted after hand over on her new build, "Gemmill bravo build" you should find it easy. It's where I borrowed the colour from lol Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66620 Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 749Nov 05, 2014 1:05 am Treeseachanger Happy belated birthday Rache Kitchen with White duck half or quarter could also be a goer....Looks great with white subways (I'm remembering Charnley's beautiful house on the forum last year...) or what about whisper white? someone needs sample pots Cheers Trees! I am sitting on white duck quarter at the moment, and will get a sample pot of it and solver white cliffs tomorrow. Just got some samples of the colours being considered: White duck 1/4 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ solver white cliffs Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Toffee fingers for ?master bedroom feature Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 751Nov 05, 2014 1:28 am I will throw another one in there - was a big hit a few years ago and I think it is still popular Antique White USA!! It is very light almost white but does go with anything! Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 752Nov 05, 2014 1:45 am I have antique white usa in my bedroom and passageways.... it's a real ivory, not white nor cream. It's on the warm side without yellow undertones. Love the toffee fingers, kind of similar to russian toffee I think....? But a lot darker. Amazing how different the white cliffs and white duck look on my screen. The white cliffs looks bluish and the white duck browner....although it has grey undertones. Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 753Nov 05, 2014 8:32 am It's such a huge decision. I went through the exact same thing and had about 100 paint samples. Your painter may be a good person to ask perhaps? Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 754Nov 05, 2014 9:08 am Oh I can't help you with paint colours, I'm still traumatised from choosing ours!! But I can wish you a belated happy birthday!!! Hope you had a beautiful day. Back onto colours for what it's worth, I chose Lexicon 1/4 for all my doors and frames, Hog Bristle 1/4 for my walls with Self Destruct for the master and theatre rooms. Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 755Nov 05, 2014 11:21 am I'm currently struggling with the same question - which white do I choose? Fiance and I already disagree haha. He likes warmer tones, I like more greyish colours (lexicon 1/4 etc). We're looking in to Ghosting Quarter Strength http://m.dulux.com.au/trade/colour/p/P1 ... ng-quarter Maybe Bleaches Quarter http://m.dulux.com.au/trade/colour/p/P1 ... es-quarter I think White Duck quarter is still lovely - even half. http://m.dulux.com.au/colour/hue/Neutra ... ck-quarter This thread has some good discussion viewtopic.php?f=6&t=62707&start=20 Good luck! (wish me luck too) Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 756Nov 05, 2014 11:45 am Just to throw another one into the mix is Dulux Subdue. We wanted a warm grey, with a little brown tones. We haven't painted yet, but this is the colour our interior designer suggested, and I think it will be really good. We had chosen Bleaches 1/2, but this is a very cold grey apparently. Really depends on if you want warm or cool tones. Good luck Re: Summit build in the South West - Urgent! ?which paint co 757Nov 05, 2014 12:18 pm Thankyou so much to my wonderful H1 buddies for birthday wishes and paint suggestions. I have my list now and I am off to the paint shop to get me some sample pots! I am sure I will be able to make a decision out of the 6 options provided. Will keep you posted as always!
