I've got part render to the front pillars. YAY!! Now it all begins for you. I look forward to seeing stacks of photos of your progress. At this stage We've got nothing more to put up in photos. Our brickie isn't happy with the shade differences in the bricks that were delivered. Yep, no bricks on the house yet!! We have all our electrical cables installed. My dad has installed all other internet/speaker/HDMI cabling, etc. And our plasterers are on site this Tuesday. The bricks will want to get a move on. (An example of a delay you may encounter along the way... Although we certainly hope that is not the case for you.) I suppose it's for the best it's good that he picked up the shade issues now and not later I guess!! Hopefully some progress this week then! Very excited! Going to do my pathetic mow tomorrow, seems so unnecessary!!! You have been asked to mow that?? What exactly is it that you have to mow? I'd be ringing the admin and asking what the purpose of a mow is. Not like there's any grass there. I'm wondering if he was looking at the wrong block lol! Yesterday I learned that the windows in the living/dining room are fixed i.e. neither awning nor sliding, just 3 pieces of glass. This doesn't sound very right to me. Any thoughts? How is it in Amalfi? Thanks. Re: My MainVue Amalfi 530 72Jul 20, 2015 3:20 pm Hi forsythpark, Not sure about the Caspian, but in my plans the Amalfi has 2/3 of the windows in dining are openable. The two small windows in living are fixed but right next to the alfresco sliders.
