He's thinking he should of held on tighter. HaHa No seriously it's a nice phone. I'm waiting to get the 6 plus. Re: Burns Beach. Content-Living. UNDER OFFER 564Sep 26, 2014 9:05 pm Congratulations on the house sale triggy. Excellent news. We're going to do the same with our pool that we ordered last year. We're going in on Saturday to tell them to fit it as soon as they can whether the builder likes it or not. I think we've held off on it for long enough. Re: Burns Beach. Content-Living. UNDER OFFER 565Sep 27, 2014 9:27 am In the end I rang Telstra and ordered the 6 and 6plus (I'm a bit concerned about the size of the 6+ however I use it as a kindle and my eyesight isn't getting any better) DH is moaning over the size of the 6 already <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Burns Beach. Content-Living. UNDER OFFER 567Sep 29, 2014 3:58 pm I can't believe someone has been in the house over the weekend to do some work. Not that its a lot of work, but work none the less. We have had the cabinet and sink in the powder room installed. 2 doors have appeared for the toilets and the tiler has got some tools in ready for next week. He has also marked out where the waterproofing needs to go in the ensuite. My Build, viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64837 Re: Burns Beach. Content-Living. I go to prestart this Friday so once that's done, and hopefully title comes through in next couple of weeks, I'll start a thread... Good luck with the prestart choices. So you know who your booked in with? Re: Burns Beach. Content-Living. TILES 571Sep 30, 2014 4:06 pm Popped down to the house today and it's all action. Tiler was in screeding, bobcat driver was smoothing out the sand out front and the supervisor was supervising! Broke the news to him that we are homeless from November 30th he said he thinks we might just make it to PCI then. Then told him that the pool was being fitted on November 18th. Again he was cool about it. But the garden is so big it shouldn't interfer with the home anyway. So I had a bit of an impromptu tile meeting today and they are happy to change the tiles to how I have now decided I want them done. Just got to go in next Monday to check with him to make sure they have delivered enough tiles for the changes I have made. Also my living area tiles are being delivered as the tiler has agreed to lay them as well. I'm going to book the blind lady to measure for the curtains and blinds on Monday as well. Re: Burns Beach. TILES 575Oct 01, 2014 12:40 am What great news! Tiling is so exciting, and it sounds like your tiler is going to be lovely to work with. Can't wait to see it all come to life. Re: Burns Beach. I know this isn't funny but for a fleeting second I wondered why you'd get someone with sight problems to do measuring for curtains! (yes, I know, dizzy blonde) Really good news that everything seems to go to plan and they're happy with your pool plans too I'm with Rache curious to know what changes you've made to your tiling! Re: Burns Beach. Content-Living. TILES 577Oct 01, 2014 9:41 am I had a feature tiling strip running across the tops of the vanities and 1 and a half tiles over the powder room sink. I've asked for the feature tiles to be removed from the vanities and used in the powder room instead. Also I have changed the tiles on the hob in ensuite 2 to the floor tiles instead of the White tile as I was worried it would look like a big white strip across the floor. Hope that makes sense. I just did the same thing in pre for prestart. Made my floor and hob tile the one colour to avoid that separation line. You also asked who i have for prestart, not sure. so i might ring and ask! Re: Burns Beach. Content-Living. TILES 579Oct 02, 2014 3:43 pm I noticed the scaffolding was down for the 2 storey next-door so decided I would go up and see how much of our garden they overlook and if they can see into our house. Its not as bad as I thought this it their view with the window wound fully open.
