I wish our Melbourne tradies were super speedy like yours. Unbelievable you started October and look to be almost done. Feb/Mar move in date I reckon Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 422Jan 27, 2017 1:43 pm Looking good, Beac. Good on your SM to send you progress pics while you're away. We had our kind neighbour send us some pics when they visited.. Since i've been piggy-banking on your thread... here's where we are at. Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 423Jan 27, 2017 4:04 pm Didn't intentionally lift them up.. it was just what our consultant thought was best at the time. Now in hindsight I would have loved a bigger window that's flush with the overhead cabinets but that would probably mean our kitchen splashback window would be taller than the pantry's (the pantry splashback window was already the max size) Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 424Jan 27, 2017 4:08 pm D, we actually had to make a request for him to send progress pics unfortunately he didn't send us any exterior ones. We've been wanting to see the cladding! Thanks Em! I hope they're continuing on at this rate while we're on holiday. We'll be back first week Feb. I don't think I'm ready to move yet Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 425Jan 27, 2017 4:13 pm qldben Looking good, Beac. Good on your SM to send you progress pics while you're away. How awesome to have such kind neighbours to help take pics! Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 427Jan 30, 2017 5:43 pm Our friend who lives 2 streets away from our block has helped us to take some pics of the house today. Scaffolding is still up so we can't really see how the exterior is going to look like yet.. but it's great to see our surfmist cladding done. I think the internal walls have also been painted from what I can see in the garage. Vantage, it's colorbond surfmist. Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 433Feb 02, 2017 7:29 pm So I've been given some quotes on our WIR. We'll most likely be going with this design. Really love the range of Polytec timbergrain colours we can choose from, but they're quite expensive compared to those white melamine shelving. I've always wanted an island jewellery display but our space wouldn't allow it so I'll just have to settle with the jewellery display above the large drawers against the wall.
