Just catching up Pam, thank goodness they replaced the whole ceiling, looks great now. Love your island and the butlers is wow, tomcat and yourself are extremely lucky to have such beautiful pantries.

You are so right Tribe, we will be quite spoilt. Love that funky looking tap in the pantry Pam. Is it a special one? I didn't take any notice of a lot of stuff at selections. I deliberately kept my ears and eyes closed and only opened them choose any standard options

Your kitchen is lovely!! Fantastic layout -- you have plenty of light too. Your orientation is similar to us I think ... your frontage faces west, yes? So good to see the ceiling redone. What a shame. Poor sparky (silly sausage) must have got the cane over the knuckles for that

Yep roughly west orientation.
The tap is quite funky but only a standard tap no upgrades - in fact the butlers one will be replacing with a puratap mixer tap soon.

Coming together nicely 😆

Thx - very swish. Happy - its starting to feel real :-)

Garden will happen over Autumn, no point in Adelaide summer planting very much as the heat will kill it. Will give us time to assess what we need and what will work. The area will be lovely with the outlook :-)

I really want to propagate them ... Just didn't get around to it today ... Been painting my guts out

My brother asked if i knew anyone who wanta yakkas?? He has two large ones to dig up and wants to sell them. He dug heapsnup last week and ditched them!! If you are interested I can tell him he is at Walkley Heights.

A dry dust bowl is still better than the mud we built in!! 😉

No problem - hubby wont let me until we are ready to plant!!! darn
What about a few ton of moss rocks!! GIveaway.....I wanted to use them but hubby has said no so we have them advertsied on gumtree for free but no one wants them!! strange cos they are so expensive to buy.

oh lordie I would love to say yes! But we only have four metres out the front to boundary. Most moss rocks are close to that aren't they

Hubby's got a six tonne truck but he reckons one moss rock can easily clock in at 50 tonnes :shock:

If you know of anyone tell them to look at Gumtree. We are at the stage of phoning landscapers to see if they have a need for them save them thousands😊
I can still see a use but hubby says NO! 😉

Sure. Such a shame. They are beautiful and yes worth a good few pennies! They'd make good retaining out your front maybe ... But as you say -- hubby says no x;)

All you lovely talented creative home designers out there in forum world......what colour pendants would you recommend for over the kitchen island!??
All white kitchen with stainless steel range and cooker, walls a light taupe with black window frames, smokey mocha sheers.

Im thinking black pendants so they will stand out - white would blend in too much.
Any suggestions 😊😊

Floor colour?

Yep black, timber or white - layered white can look very pretty. Clear glass, smoked glass, amber glass would look lovely and light. Steel would also look great....Sorry not so helpful.
Its probably easier if you find 3 or so pendants you love then decide which will look best rather than focussing on a colour of pendant.

TC here are my flooring choices - mocha carpet for stairs and upstairs and a vinyl plank for downstairs :-)

You have very soft colours - black may look harsh depending on the shape.

That's pretty. What will the copper tie in with ? are you having copper accents?
What about the pure pendant on page 6 or the madeline on page 9?
Timber or grey pendants would look good too.

The float range on page 6 good too - nickel with timber. Have to say they have some nice lights - have looked at lights for a long time and they have some styles I have not seen before.
