Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 361Jul 01, 2014 11:51 am Yes, very pleasing news that with media support and the community of Riverside uniting, both stages 33 & 52 have registered swiftly after dragging on since September 2012! Settlement looms and it will be a relief to have nothing to do with the developer and move on with the excitement of the build! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 362Jul 01, 2014 2:17 pm That's awesome news Matt!!!!! Congrats Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 363Jul 03, 2014 3:20 pm This is so exciting!! hopfully the other releases wont be delayed and will register when they were suppose to Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 364Jul 03, 2014 8:46 pm There seems to be a bit more work going on around the place since the cameras from A Current Affair have been lingering - this is promising news for future stages who will hopefully not have to endure the same costly delays as the previous stages. I think Stage 44 was initially told December 2014 so will be interesting to see how it all goes with 40, 41. 42 and 43 over the next few months. Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 365Jul 07, 2014 11:31 am a friend of mine bought in release 43, who is mean to register in November this year - they saw colin on the weekend and he told them they wont be registered till this time next year!!!!! i hope that isnt true Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 366Jul 07, 2014 1:40 pm I wouldn't be surprised Parkview_rs - even when stages 33 & 52 had streets, lights and road signs etc it still took over 8mths to progress. 33 & 52 are only just beginning to settle over the coming fortnight - 40, 41, 42, 43 and 44 are all waiting in line. We obviously hope things will improve in light of the media pressure but to give you an idea of timing/delays, stage 33 purchasers from September 2012 were told registration by April 2013 and it FINALLY registered in the last few days of June 2014 - over 14mths beyond what was initially promised. If the delays continue to grow, applying media pressure early would be the way to go because clearly stages 33 & 52 would still be waiting without it!! Also, not many people find anything that Colin says credible so I would be cautious of listening to him - just rely on LPI and your solicitor for accurate information (if it is available). Also be warned, Cornish Group ban you from information about your purchase if you ask too many questions - hence why media is a lot more effective. Good luck!! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 367Jul 08, 2014 4:15 pm We got an email actually yesterday saying its been confirmed for March/ April next year fingers crossed!!! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 368Jul 08, 2014 4:30 pm That's great news! How did they confirm your registration and settlement dates? Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 369Jul 14, 2014 9:56 am So I've seen the first house has the form work done ready for slab! That was fast after registration! Hoping to see lots of your houses go up soon Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 370Jul 16, 2014 2:21 pm hi riverside_24 they just emailed us.. we will see what further communication we get! lets just hope there is not alot of rainy days Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 371Jul 29, 2014 1:03 pm Did anyone else watch the spring farm story on the news last night about the coal seam gas wells around the area. From what I can find there are a few near spring farm east village but none in the riverside area. When looking from springs rd there is a little structure at the end of the lake on the right hand side? you can also see it on google maps, does anyone know what that is or if it has any relation to the gas wells? Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 372Jul 29, 2014 4:55 pm Hi All Riverside residents, I just came across this forum. Me and my partner put a deposit down for a land in stage 43 back in November 2013. I was able to negotiate a 5% deposit with my solicitor and luckily it was approved by the vendor's solicitor. At the time of signing all the paperwork we were informed that the registration would take place September 2014. On the 7th of July 2014 I received an email which indicated that due to delays they expect registration for Riverside Stages 43 and 44 to occur in March/April 2015. Another update will be sent in November/December 2014 with further details. We are looking at building with Rawson Homes. Has anyone heard anything about them, good? bad?. Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 373Jul 31, 2014 11:22 am Hi guys. After investigation we will not be having coal seam gas issues, it was a government land issue and landcom and govt go hand in hand, so they are allowed to do it in east village but not in riverside. Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 374Aug 06, 2014 3:31 pm Thanks for the information riversidedreamin I'm glad their won't be any in riverside Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 375Nov 11, 2014 3:00 pm Good afternoon all, I received an email this afternoon from Cornish group re: updated landscaping and the street names for stages 43-44. I am being told by Colin the land will register by March-April 2017. Is there anyone else from Stage 62? Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 379Feb 07, 2017 2:28 pm jbb Hi, Anyone who has bought land in Stage 62? Has the land from Stages 61 and earlier been registered already? I am being told by Colin the land will register by March-April 2017. Is there anyone else from Stage 62? If you check their website it says stage 61-63 will go to LPI Jan end. After they send to LPI Normally it takes 4-5 weeks to land get registered. Soak wells and electrical run in happening this week!
