Don't know if tiling is continuing tomorrow as paint prep is starting and painter said they don't have different tradies on site at same time. Maybe they will orperhaps the painter will only prep but notcontinue, or....? Next thrilling episode! We have settled on the Coolum 24 and made same great changes to to suit our needs. Oh, we looked long and hard at the Coolum 24. It has that lovely activity area and plenty of room to extend the Outdoor Area. Also such a large Dining Family area. Unfortunately adding the pool room on the side was difficult and then we fell in love with the Manhattan. I think we had considered just about every design! Looking forward to seeing your build. Re: Oldies Coral Homes Manhattan design in Camira Qld 311Jun 24, 2016 9:25 am Well, great news! Next Wednesday we should be given a Handover Date! It will be so good to know when to book everything else like the main floor tiling, the driveway, the pool confirmation etc. Re: Oldies Coral Homes Manhattan design in Camira Qld 312Jun 24, 2016 9:40 am Wow fantastic news oldies! I think because you're not doing flooring with them thats why you're so much closer to pci/handover. My tiler is slow. He was supposed to finish by monday and he only finished yesterday so thats why the painters hadnt started yet until today. You'll be finished before me Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Re: Oldies Coral Homes Manhattan design in Camira Qld 313Jun 26, 2016 4:28 pm Don't know that we will be finished before you, Von. Our tiling isn't finished. The garage door isn't on. The painter has been prepping but hasn't actually started painting, although he's done a lot of edges. Happy with painter! Also the last cornices have been done. One downpipe isn't on because it is supposed to go down a post with bolts sticking out in the way. SS is checking it out Monday so no doubt it will soon be fixed. Altogether progress is good, very good. Tuesday it will be 10 weeks since Site Start. We went shopping for a few blinds and a rug today, fun stuff. Re: Oldies Coral Homes Manhattan design in Camira Qld 314Jun 27, 2016 5:11 pm Well no tilers today but the painters have excelled themselves! House looks so great!! I love our red posts and can't wait to see front door and garage door red too .problem down post not fixed yet,but so happy with the house design and paint colours. Its a little hard to tell from the pics The walls are light grey and the doors are a darker grey. The floor tile mixes light and dark grey. Everything else is white. feature walls are door grey and red to match outside. Re: Oldies Coral Homes Manhattan design in Camira Qld 317Jun 27, 2016 5:58 pm It looks so good! Did you request for the posts to be painted?? Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14922 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish.
