Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2682Jul 12, 2013 2:55 pm wokwon m4v3r1ck Also does anyone have updates on status of Bridge connecting the Gammage Blvd over the proposed creek. They've been building it for 2 years now, you can't rush these things. Hi I understand that you cannot rush these things. However stage 17 is now ready and i know lot of people (like us) would have settled their land with the developers. Least we expect is a proper road (at the moment it is only the bridge) to get into the stage. Anyone else building in Stage 17 in Aurora? m4v3r1ck Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2683Jul 12, 2013 2:58 pm m4v3r1ck Hi I understand that you cannot rush these things. Nah my point is that when dealing with Places Victoria, one has to continually lower one's expectations. It took them 14 months to title our land (from the first date title promised to when it was actually titled). It took them 11 weeks to activate the fibre internet to my house. Based on my experiences the bridge will be ready sometime in 2046 (the same year Vicroads feels that Ohern's road will need to be connected with the Hume freeway). Don't get too excited about it too much or have too much expectation, it'll take PV months to get something done. AS for stage 17, they started about 18 months ago if my memory is correct. I almost bought a land from stage 17 three and a half years ago when they released the stage! Then I bought in different stage which still took them 2 years to settle! The only comfort you might get is that at least there is someone working at site everyday, so you know there will be an end for the wait. To know the status of the construction, you might want to ask the ladies at the sales office or contact their head office directly. If they give you a date, i wouldn't hold my breath for their promise. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2685Jul 16, 2013 11:40 am BTW m4v3r1ck, the Aurora project manager will be attending ACA annual meeting next Wed, why don't you come along and get a chance to ask him face to face in regarding your question? http://www.aurora.asn.au/2013/07/rsvp-a ... t-speaker/ Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2687Jul 19, 2013 3:02 pm m4v3r1ck @aurorafrog thanks for the invite, but i will not be able to make it on Wednesday. i would appreciate if you could bring this question up for me. The builder next door has dumped his construction rubbish on my block. He is not co-operating with an excuse that the builder next door has dumped it. That builder has already finished construction. I contacted other builder but he is not taking any responsibility. Despite me providing all relevant proof in this regard the council inspector, he says he cannot force the builder to take away his rubbish. Anybody had been in similar situation? Any suggestions in this regard? I am starting construction soon and need a clean site for same. Then do you have enough evidence to proof which exact builder did it? Usually your builder will clean up the site if that's not a lot dumps without extra cost. Some people fence up their lot once it's settled so the builders can't dump waste there. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2694Aug 16, 2013 8:18 am wondering Have been told Aurora Northern Town Centre will have Coles supermarket and it will be completed in 16 months. Can we believe this. I think you can believe it's going to be Coles, but not sure about the timeline, you can read the minute from the last ACA AGM which mentioned about it http://www.aurora.asn.au/?file_id=112. They would have their poster up once they have finished the temporary fence I guess. Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2695Sep 14, 2013 12:31 pm Hey everyone, Just a quick question, is anyone getting TV signal issues? Some of the TVs in my house won't pick up a signal at all, others can't pick up a couple of channels only (namely 7 and their related channels). Wondering if it's an estate-wide issue, or just something wrong with my house / cabinet. Can't comment as I am using only one TV in the lounge and haven't have any issues apart from in a few occasion the signal was completely discounted but came back within a few minutes. Cheers Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2698Sep 16, 2013 7:25 pm Thanks for the info 3cpo and aurorafrog. I think something's wrong with my TV signal from the cabinet – whether it is the optic fibre "modem" or some other TV hardware. Has this happened to anyone else? What were the steps to get it fixed? Just call the FTTH hotline? Re: LYNDARUM/AURORA/SUMMERHILL ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 2700Sep 24, 2013 10:05 am SunnyDays Hi Everyone, We are planning to move from other side of town to Aurora. Can you guys please give some suggestions for child care? Thanks There is wallaby child care that opened this year, on redding rise, opposite the new school and next to the living and learning centre and general store. I don't use it myself, but plenty if parents from my sons school do and are very happy.
