Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Bathrooms 221Oct 24, 2016 12:48 pm We went and had a look again today. Couldn't see much because all the windows were taped up. So either they have done the painting, or they are about to. All the electrical stuff looked done too, switches, power points and lights. The bit we could see of the tiling looked nice with its grout all done. The neighbours have their trenches being dug today, so they must be soon to start also. Pretty exciting. Looking forward to seeing how the colour comes out. Next door has a slab now too. When are you doing fences? Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Bathrooms 224Oct 27, 2016 10:06 pm Going to do fences after the other neighbours make contact. Block behind us isn't sold yet, so might have to put up fences without them. Also money.. lol. probably later than we want as everything else has cost so darnn much Building a Fairmont Custom in Seaford Meadows Our Build Thread Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Painting 225Oct 29, 2016 2:49 pm It's not cheap, that's for sure. Fences are one thing, and then concrete surround to stabilise, stormwater, blah, blah, blah-dy, blah... endless. How exciting to see the paint colours, tho! Hope it's soon, I wanna sticky beak through the windows! If anyone sees a short, fat lady with purple hair lurking and looking suspicious - it's only me. I hope it goes quick for you. Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Painting 226Nov 03, 2016 6:16 pm You can see the colour of the paint on the garage walls and ceilings. Looks like they have done 90% of the paint from what we could see. Seems like they have at least done the ceilings completely, and the walls have 1 coat and are not cut in. The house next door has sprung up. Good to see how the neighbours house is going to sit next to ours. So glad we got the extra bit of gap on the other side now. Pretty annoyed at the amount of rubbish that has accumulated in the last week onsite. Lots and lots of old kids toys and stuff. Very annoying how people think they can just dump stuff all around your skip bin.... grr. Space looks good. Bet you're excited! Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Painting 229Nov 14, 2016 8:51 pm Our port-a-loo has been removed, so that must mean they are serious about getting things finished soon I hope. Nothing significant else to report at this stage. I think we need the following to be finished: Finish painting Bay window roof Air Conditioning Appliances Shower Glass Toilets and basins Roller doors Building a Fairmont Custom in Seaford Meadows Our Build Thread Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Painting 230Nov 16, 2016 8:21 am MJT Our port-a-loo has been removed, so that must mean they are serious about getting things finished soon I hope.
