These plasterers work fast and you'll see your beautiful house come alive inside. Ours were finished in 3 days. Can't wait to see.... Re: Building Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Geelong 2022Dec 04, 2016 9:02 am Thanks everyone! Glad they got most of it fixed up!! Hopefully no delays getting traded back to fix the last few issues. He said Tuesday at the latest they'd be fixed and I could go back with him to confirm before plaster goes ahead. Building Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Geelong 2023Dec 08, 2016 2:19 pm Met SM yesterday to go through last few defects that were missed. A few things still hadn't been completed but he will send a photo through to prove they've been done before plaster starts Monday! They are putting up steel things for laser levelling of ceiling so the inspector doesn't make them rip it down if they aren't right with plaster. Should do it right first time regardless of whether someone has a private inspector or not! Plan is plaster before Xmas, stairs may go in over Xmas break then kitchen, screening and waterproofing should be done by end of Jan. Slowly slowly, but progress all the same Oh and on another note, our private estate club opened in Monday so we now have pools, gym and tennis courts to use Re: Building Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Geelong 2024Dec 08, 2016 2:28 pm kylz4 Met SM yesterday to go through last few defects that were missed. After visit yesterday though the insulation that was on inspectors report hasn't been fixed up properly. Does anyone know why he said insulation is supposed to hide plumbing so that plaster butts up right against it? At the moment the insulation is tucked behind plumbing etc. does it really matter? There is access to roof through bed 4 so they can fix that later. No plaster going up yet! Just know that you WILL come out the other side and it WILL all be okay and this will be a distant memory. I can remember how useless and down I felt seeing nothing and I know that nothing anyone says will make you feel better. But I know how it can eat you up so my advice would be not to let it consume you. I took a break from HomeOne and told my family that they couldn't ask me about the house for a while there.
