Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Knockdown/rebuild Classic style weatherboard Melbourne 21Mar 14, 2013 7:57 am How exciting - bit by bit everything comes together to form your dream home I remember how excited we were when our bricks arrived, just by the way looks like the colour is the same as our brick as well - suits well for the style house you're going to have even if you won't see it ... Re: Knockdown/rebuild Classic style weatherboard Melbourne 22Mar 14, 2013 8:21 am Thanks Willowmoon. Did you get the 'cotton' colour? That's what ours are. In fact we were a bit worried about the colour seeing it last night and taking one home to put against the painted board, I felt a bit rushed in making the brick decision. I think it will turn out ok but not perfect, what can you do! :S My Hamptons build (completed): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=63370 Moved in Wednesday 11th Dec 2013 Front landscaping completed June 2016 Re: Knockdown/rebuild Classic style weatherboard Melbourne 23Mar 14, 2013 9:32 am cinder Thanks Willowmoon. As to weatherboard, we build quite a lot of them. Some of them are very stylish, some composite construction, most with verandas, and to be honest, some fairly basic and plain. Something for everyone? good luck! Re: Knockdown/rebuild Classic style weatherboard Melbourne 40Apr 04, 2013 9:48 am Thanks Leighton. I think a custom builder is much more likely to be able to do all those different styles. The volume builders seem a bit one dimensional.
