Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 185Sep 13, 2013 9:39 am Sorry, forgot to mention, there was nothing noted about the slab class on the final PCV, so it's still H class. Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 186Sep 13, 2013 9:53 am What's the site start appointment? We haven't had that, our CSO just sent over our final docs and the plans via email and we haven't signed off as yet. How exciting, it's all happening!!! That's good about the slab, I wonder why mine was different?? and was going to be charged the same amount, and it was all over the council approved docs to state H Class, I am requesting our slab get's tested, just to be certain Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 187Sep 13, 2013 9:55 am oh wow ok that's cool, I didn't realise that you could get pegged before signing off on final documents!! So if you happen to be there next week, let me know if you see any red pegs on our block!!! haha The site start appt is where you go in and sign off on those plans that she sent you via email. We should receive our plans on Monday, so we have a few days to go through everything before signing off. It's so strange that your slab was changed....and everyone else around is H....but yeah good idea that you check it is H...just in case! Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 188Sep 13, 2013 10:01 am Yeah i don't know what happened, never even got an email to say that we got it either, but either way I am happy. Yeah we have to re-do our plans just a few minor changes but otherwise it was all perfect. There are a few houses popping up which is great. So exciting!! Yeah the slab is real strange, but will be all over it!!! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 189Sep 13, 2013 10:42 am Hey firsttimers2013 (neighbour) Yes went up really quick.Apparently the roof will be on by end of next week.. Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 191Sep 24, 2013 9:39 am oh Congrats riverside2012...Not long now........ We actually had our roof put up on Monday and our bricks should arrive tomorrow. I am amazed at just how fast things go up, but in saying that after the bricks are done it will probably slow down as the inside gets done.... Firsttimers.....red pegs soon.....?????? Hoping to get up there this weekend and walk the streets and see how everyone is progressing.....LOL... Very exciting for everyone now.... Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 192Sep 24, 2013 9:54 am That's so great!! We will prob pop by this weekend as well to have another look...you blink and miss stuff at this pace!! How long after you were pegged did work start? Did it take the full 20 days? Firsttimers already have their pegs!! Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 195Sep 24, 2013 10:01 am oh really? Did you spot that Lisa? Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 197Sep 24, 2013 11:04 am Congrats Riverside on the pegs!!! YAY!!!! How exciting. It is literally a waiting game now, which is killing me!!! It's been 5 working days for us. The slowest ever! I asked my CSO about if it can go quicker and she said depends on work load, she doesn't forsee it but I am praying to the building gods!! Oh no Lisa, lucky that was picked up. I would highly recommend everyone look at their slab and ensure it is the right class, the council approved plans state it is a H so make sure it is a H, I am looking forward to meeting the SS, lots of things to talk about!! Is everyone getting tiles or colourbond? We are doing CB. Looking forward to our one day meeting everyone Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 198Sep 24, 2013 11:12 am We are working day number 2!! haha! I reckon you and I will have the same tradies going back and forth between our builds since we are so close to starting at the same time... Our final End Panel list came back with slab as H class, so I can only trust that's what they do!! Do you know who your SS is yet?? We are getting CB as well..in Monument Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 199Sep 24, 2013 11:22 am Well lets hope our tradies do a good job. Is it 20 days from Peg out or from when you do final sign off on your documents. Our peg out was 2 weeks ago, but our CSO said 20 from the final docs stage. The pegs look good don't they haha. Your neigbours started too, a few things happening which is fun! Nah haven't heard who the SS is. Have you? Yeah we are doing Monument Can't wait to see it all happen. Re: Building in Spring Farm Riverside - Stage 51 200Sep 24, 2013 11:24 am Yeah it's 20 days from final docs... Yeah, we were there Friday last week and saw that our neighbour had started...and the other side had red pegs as well..so I'm glad that we are all building around the same time, that means we can all finish around the same time and not worry about builders being right next door for too long!!! Plus that means fences can go up quicker! Also, do you know who your other neighbour is? As they back on to us...we would like to discuss fences!! No idea who SS is yet...hopefully a good one though! Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Congrats. Will be watching this progress and interested to see how you go with summit. 12 34718 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair We purchased a 1960s property that is on timber stumps mostly, and a newer section is on concrete stumps.
