I miss you too lovely one! I just wish i had a few more hours in the day at the moment so i can hang out with my H1 family more! I would love to see your hallway rugs when youre done- what a great idea! I hate waiting too..i want everything done yesterday and it can be very frustrating when you have neither the time or money to make it happen!! I am thankful for my very beautiful home and family though. Night Melsie. Re: Summit build in the South West 1343Apr 13, 2015 3:08 am Rache that is so lovely I LOVE your bed and the bedsides are gorgeous too. The le creuset mugs are gorgeous they're a bit addictive aren't they? When you start buying them you want more lol. I have a whole set of emerald green casseroles and pots bought yonks ago - I wish I'd gone for either the classical red/orange, or waited for the grey! But I still love them and use them so often. I too have the mini casseroles, really good for individual puds like creme brulee, but also for things like patees. I love the pic of little freckle face and her pony - they look inseparable and it is so lovely to see. xx Re: Summit build in the South West 1344Apr 13, 2015 3:13 pm Thanks Malsannie!! Geez i miss chatting on here! I love the mugs- really nice to drink from. And they are gorgeous- the nutmeg colour goes beautifully with the platinum micro. Hows things going with your paperwork. I see you havent done an update lately..is it moving along? I finally have the fire box in minus the full length flue and jacket. Waiting to have that and the dishwasher installed at the same time. Doors are all being planed and put back on tomorrow. Yay!! Couldnt fit them back on coz of the carpet! Also have some glass shower shelving going in and some hanging hooks an towel rail for the laundry. Little bits and pieces but progress nonetheless! Pic of the fire for you all.

Sounds like you're settling in (ans well as Stewart!) Mugs look fab - I loooove Le Creuset. Wouldn't be without my casserole. Fireplace looks great too. In fact I have a couple of questions as I have started looking into ours. Where did you get it from? I'm struggling to find providers that aren't Bunnings or Barbeques Galore! Also are those just normal tiles? Like you we would need to put in some kind of hearth and I'm at a bit of a loss where to start! Re: Summit build in the South West 1346Apr 13, 2015 3:48 pm You finally got a bed, yay!! It looks beautiful, lovely and comfy. What a huge bedroom! You're getting there Rache! There are many pics on Pinterest, I'll find you a few after work today. Re: Summit build in the South West 1348Apr 14, 2015 12:36 am nikkis2000 Hi Rache! Also are those just normal tiles? Like you we would need to put in some kind of hearth and I'm at a bit of a loss where to start! Hi there nikki! Fireplace came from Hearth House in Bunbury. Its called the Regency Hume. We wanted a big box that would shut down at night so we can keep it going 24/7! We generally start it some time in April and it keeps going til October! The tiles are a textured granite look 300 x 600, but i think you can use any tile you like. We nearly didnt have a hearth coz we have tiles on the floor anyway, but decided to define the area and are glad we did. Good luck chick! Firstly bedroom suite is gorgeous, freckle face and pony is precious and the fireplace looks awesome...i imagine that fire going on a cold wet rainy day with a glass of red looking out at your gorgeous view.. Re: Summit build in the South West - Few update pics! 1352Apr 14, 2015 1:07 am Aaww thanks belzey. Its lovely to be back! Looking forward to being able to relax with a wine and the view. I thought things would slow down a bit once we moved in but it has felt even more frenzied than before!! Trying to take it in my stride though and enjoy the ride! Re: Summit build in the South West - Few update pics! 1353Apr 14, 2015 8:55 am Love the bed Rache and wow, like Melsie said, your bedroom is huge! Lucky things! What's the go with your tiles, I missed that bit (Melsie too)? That is lovely I can see why you'd like it - very industrial similar to the city2 things from superamart. You could add castors to the steel container you got? Actually, one of the city2 bookcases might be an option? Unless you want small and portable? x Re: Summit build in the South West - Few update pics! 1355Apr 15, 2015 12:25 am PerthAussie2014 Love the bed Rache and wow, like Melsie said, your bedroom is huge! Lucky things! What's the go with your tiles, I missed that bit (Melsie too)? Geez thanks Em! The bedroom is pretty big- always intended having a chill corner for either me to read or my OH to watch his races! Gotta say, i am loving the space! Just gotta find the right chair now! The tiles we were talking about are the ones around the fireplace. Re: Summit build in the South West - Few update pics! 1357Apr 15, 2015 12:44 am Feeling a little inspired tonight! Had our lovely carpenter here for most of the day sorting all our doors and putting up shower shelves etc 100 bucks and a dressed lamb for payment! Very happy! I finished the painting that had been missed and sanded and stained my folks old bookshelf for our study. Needs another coat but it doesnt look too bad. Means i can unpack my books shortly. YAY! And i followed up re our pendants and they arrived in Sydney today from America, the guy has made them Aussie friendly and they are in the post!!!! Very exciting! It's all looking sensational especially the fireplace - just gorgeous. Thought of you yesterday when I spotted coffee, sugar and tea cannisters at kmart that match your sexy kettle. I have images in my head of a lovely stone hearth but I'm sure that they'll be way out of budget! Would also love a brick surround but we ruled that out fairly early on! Have you considered a Chaise for the bedroom rather than a chair - even comfier for curling up with a book! Hehehe!!Colours are always different on line hey. Hows things going at your lovely home? Still camping or are you getting there? I know it will look like something out of a magazine when you're done!
