Love how everything opens up to the terraces. I'm sure this will be super helpful to anyone else building in a flame zone, don't know anything about it myself. Where abouts are you building? We are building just outside of Yarra Glen in Victoria. I hope it is helpful to poeple building in fire zones. There is such limited information out there, and lots of contradictory information too. We have found getting the right information very difficult. We are building in a BAL 12.5 area which is peanuts compared to you but it does give me a little glimpse of the challenges you must have faced in designing you home. They were both strays so don't know much about there breeding. Just going off there looks and personality! Both came from gippsland so good chance they are working breeds! Yes, now you can picture it kiwi! The west side of the house FZ fire rated, so windows will have a shutter. This will double as a sun shelter on those hot days! The west views are nice, but its just bush as the house is quite close to them. Does give us nice privacy though for our window in the ensuite shower!
