I was speaking to my csc yesterday and she didn't mention it?? Remember how I asked about how they would fence us?? We got fenced up with next door and only one loo Re: Metricon Rialto 36 Gold Coast - Framed 424May 30, 2015 9:35 am Our ss is the same. He has said he will just reverse build until the brickies he wants are available but he has looked into another brickie whose work seems good as well so he has a back up if something falls through. So I guess they just have their favorites they prefer to work with. I was out there at lunchtime and could have went back for a second peep after work (but too far to go home). I thoroughly enjoyed last last night's moonlight report Actually, they're going so quick, you'd have no reason to be impatient. What a beautiful location. Lovely street appeal Mr T was pooped last night he spent some quality time on the couch snoozing . He will be back next week for more reports as he knows what to look for, I just stand there and go oh wow it's got a roof lunch time trips might be the winning ticket for you as your half way there already. Eeeeyew Surely they will drop a potty off soon for them? A lemon tree in the back corner maybe? It's quite funny there are 4 potties in our street as all houses are roughly at the same stage so I'm sure they can make use of them all Re: Metricon Rialto 36 Gold Coast - Framed 428May 30, 2015 10:38 am Im picturing him snoozing with five kids crawling on him You're lucky you got your own engineer ... And he's happy!! Hey, I have a lemon tree planned for the back corner - exactly Hehehhe no way they are too loud, the little 3 are in bed by 7 and the big 2 by 8. Come 8.15 he is happily snoozing . I am lucky I can get him to do lots for us, I'm going to get him to do the front retaining stretch up this weekend so I can start buying small plants to grow up. Ones of his best mates is a civil engineer and he is going to come and do a slab and frame inspection for us . Lemon trees grow quite well from being "watered" Re: Metricon Rialto 36 Gold Coast - Framed 431May 30, 2015 8:00 pm Awww c'mon Mr Tribe, fess up. You sure it was just once? If I had five whippersnappers and worked my butt off all day after a fair haul/commute, I'd be snoring my head off as soon as my pants brushed the couch. Re: Metricon Rialto 36 Gold Coast - Framed 432May 30, 2015 9:04 pm Tribe, how long after did M start on the frames, following the slab? Hey monalisa, we had our slab poured on Wednesday 13th of May and they did the first floor framing on Thursday 21st May, we had a delay with our frames too so it should of been sooner. Re: Metricon Rialto 36 Gold Coast - Framed 435May 30, 2015 9:39 pm Thanks tribe. I thought there is a compulsory 1 week delay. I thought there is a compulsory 1 week delay. I guess different builders have different policies but regardless, a week is good because it gives the concrete a bit of time to cure. It actually takes about a month for the concrete to cure properly (I believe). So giving it a week gives it a head start Jen (& Dave) Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge, Gold Coast QLD 12/03/2015 - Commencement... 26/08/2015 - Handover! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Re: Metricon Rialto 36 Gold Coast - Framed 437May 30, 2015 9:52 pm Ilaeria monalisa Thanks tribe.
