Lol The annoying thing is nobody is helping her or taking over her role. She emailed me this evening to call her straight away...so I did and she didn't answer...twice! What's that about! Thanks for the imaginary soup...'twas delish xx Re: Our first build 626Jul 14, 2016 6:07 am Oh that's annoying! Hope you get some answers ASAP Build thread http://tinyurl.com/llgc7yk Re: Our first build 629Jul 15, 2016 6:53 pm Got to speak the cso about the kitchen. She said she was sending it all off either today or Monday (yeah no hurry ) so I'll call the kitchen company next week to make sure she has and that they understand the errors. Windows...again no clue but will look into it. SS said our frames have started (yay!) but 'they' forgot to order the extra steal beam for the alfresco so can't continue until that arrives he said hopefully Tuesday they will continue...but forecast says rain from Tuesday til Saturday next week so yeah. Bummed but keen to see the framing that's been done. I feel bad being impatient as some of you are still waiting for site start but the land being delayed so long and now these delays are making me weary of the whole thing. We are going crazy in our tiny rental. We need to be out of here by Xmas and that's worrying me. Re: Our first build 630Jul 15, 2016 6:58 pm Hehe...thank you for thinking of me reg I actually bought the toaster but couldn't get the matching kettle so I bought the Trent & Steele ones instead! I still have the toaster though lol must take it back actually and use it toward something else! Re: Our first build 631Jul 15, 2016 10:25 pm Oh dear me. That's quite the hold up Dee. don't feel bad about feeling impatient!! It's all things that shouldn't have been delayed, so it's no wonder you're frustrated. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of what they've done so far. With regard to your rental, is there any way to extend your stay if you have too? Does the builder know of your deadline and how long is your build time states in the contract? - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build 632Jul 15, 2016 10:26 pm deejay08 Got to speak the cso about the kitchen.
