Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Apr 17, 2017 7:58 pm Hi, Are there any inspectors out there that can advise where I can find the relevant standards relating to building quality / tolerances for residential construction in New South Wales? Particularly interested in tolerances for the following: - squareness of internal walls (horizontally along its length and vertically) - gaps between wall and skirting/architrave - gaps between wall and melamine shelving Thanks. In the meantime as Bashworth notes the Victorian version is generally accepted as a suitable guide in NSW. If you can't find specifics in the Vic version there are details of the tolerances you are looking for in the QLD QBCC version. It is available via QBCC website. Remember these are only guides and individual circumstances should be taken into account on a case by case basis. Hope this helps. 2 9447 We are having a bathroom reddone.
