Hey,
My fiance and I purchased our first home together back in May this year.
It's in livable condition, but there are always things that can be fixed or changed to suit personal styles/wants.
We've done a few things here and there inside, and a lot of stuff outside. I've managed to cut down 4 trees so far, some up to 5-6m high. All with a Jack saw. Not an easy or enjoyable task, but I got it done.
Inside we removed the old electric oven and dishwasher which were broken and made a new cover and face plate to install my parents old gas oven and a new set of drawers for underneath. (With the help of my dad, 27years of renos under his belt, and future father in law, cabinet maker/carpenter)
We've got a long way to go, but it is a fun journey. I imagine I'll have plenty of questions to come.
