Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Nov 19, 2013 12:06 pm I need some quick advice. I am planning a sleepover for my son with a couple of his friends. I was going to use the family room. This room has one of those wide narrow windows - probably about 80-90cm height and 220 length - this is just a guess and not important for what I am asking. I can do a proper measurement if need be. The window is located just below the ceiling. We have never put any window coverings on this window as we never thought it necessary - no-one sleeps there normally and the window is up high so no-one can see in during the day.. Anyway, now it is a problem as the kids will be kept awake with the room being too bright to sleep in - also east facing with morning sun! Does anyone have any easy fitting product I can use to put on the window to black out the light and morning sun? Does Bunnings sell anything? I'd rather not use newspaper and I doubt this would work anyway. Thanks. PS. This room is our best option for the sleepover - window issue aside!
