I have rang 5 suppliers and attempted to explain this door.. and NONE of them know what I am talking about, so I rang Hume and Corinthian and they dont know either.

Corinthian make them as we had a quote for $4500 when we went to build. I know its going to be cheaper then that, so I would like to find out.

Help? ::wornout::

Isn't it just a sliding cavity door with glass inserts?

Its not a cavity per see. It doesnt go inside, its 2 doors, one slides behind the other. They all think its not possible.

Yes - sorry! Not a cavity slider - my bad.

Perhaps find out who supplies the doors for Metr!con homes. Someone building with them should be able to tell you if Metr!con don't want to.

Try stegbar. We were in the showroom in Rowville a couple of weeks back and saw something like that. I could be confused with an external door though!

If Corinthian make the doors then someone there must know about them

Have you tried emailing them the link you included in your initial post here?

I don't think its a standard manufactured door.

It looks to me to be a standard door probably running on Wardrobe Door Tracks with the wheels inset into the base of the door.

Do a seach for hidden sliding doors and you'll find all sorts of systems to fix standard doors to. Here are a couple that we're considering....

http://www.centor.com.au/gallery-sliding-systems

http://www.hafele.com/au/news-and-events/porta.asp

etc.......

Hi humble

Have a look through my build thread (link in my signature), you'll see the hidden stacker door that I sourced for the house. It's huge. 3 panels each being approx 1500mm X 2700mm. Then the entire 3 panels disappear into a wall cavity.

Is this what you're after?

These 3 panels slide open R to L, stack and then go into the wall to the left:

Here it is with the gyprock on:
