We've ordered plantation shutters and the guy measuring up suggested if we want fly screens we need to sort them out before the shutters go on.
Some of our windows are sliding, so I'm not sure how you can combine sliding windows, flyscreens and plantation shutters... I'm thinking the magnetic type might work, apart from that wouldn't you need some movable or removable part in the screen so you can get at the window to open and close?
The flyscreens on my sliding windows are on the outside and sit in a channel next to the one the window slides in - I wouldn't think they would have any impact on plantation shutters on the inside of the window. However the flyscreens on my awning (wind out) windows are on the inside so that may impact on the installation of your plantation shutters - perhaps that's what the measuring guy was talking about?
