Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Oct 28, 2010 3:33 pm Good afternoon all, I have a kitchen with a half window currently screened with a wooden venetian blind and a family room with 3 floor to ceiling windows each on different angles as they go around a corner (30 degrees different). They are currently screened with wooden venetian blinds, and next to them is a sliding glass door currently screened with a curtain. I need some ideas for suitable window treatments and opinions on using pelmets. I have built and put up pelmets and heavy curtains throughout the rest of the house, however am concerned that in the family room they may appear too big and dominating. I would like to leave the wooden venetian blinds in place. Thanks for your help Records Manager Re: Request for curtain and/or pelmet advice for family room 2Nov 19, 2010 9:11 pm I guess it depends on how big you want the pelmet? They are about 30cms high, the length of the window and some ugly flower pattern that I wish to get rid of at some point...
