If you need things like a 6m bi-fold door it comes at a cost and it might take you much higher than 10% Although joinery is one of the most important component of the external envelope it is in many cases unrealisticly low in the budget using sub-standard rubbish as a benchmark for comparism Paarhammer worked out to be slightly more than 20% of our overall budget....10% i can handle and even slightly more (which is what we'll end up spending on another supplier to get what we're after)...but i just can't justify double the cost when it would mean that budgets for everything else would be blown out completely!!
