Planterboxes painted a 2nd coat (1 more to go). And retic for my turf area complete! Next up, a bit of tidy up, finish painting and install vertical garden wall. Aim to start the decking in 2 weeks. Hopefully the rain and stay away on the weekends. I assume those heads are popups, do you have them supported by a paver or Concrete to stop them sinking or snapping off the pvc fixing? using Tapatalk Edge39.my-letter-box.com Re: WREXTER'S REAR LANDSCAPING JOURNEY - Update Photos 74May 02, 2016 10:02 pm haha they look dirty to me! I kept sweeping them throughout the process, the dirt makes a mess, especially when it rains! i will give everything a good clean at the end. Yes those heads are pop-ups, that photo was taken before i dug them in and set them at the right height. They arent supported with a paver, i didnt think of it to be honest. I will dig the dirt up and put something there, thanks for the tip. Although, they are on a articulated riser so if someone did step on them (they are 25mm grass height), there is enough flexibility that they wouldnt break the pvc. For those interested, did alot of research into pine & Jarrah suppliers in Perth and found Absolute Timbers in Wangara to be the best priced. Ended up going for 90x22 Jarrah with 90x45 H3 Structural Pine. They charge no more per sqm if you wanted wider boards. Looking forward to see the finished product. Thanks for the tips. Would you be able to tell me how much you got the Jarrah planks? Hi Kabaw The Jarrah comes in 3 grades Premium (minimal features ) $50 p/sqm Medium (mild features ) $45 p/sqm Feature (high features) $27 p/sqm At the reccomendation of the supplier (Absolute Timber) I went for a 50/50 mix of Premium and Medium as I quick like a bit of feature throughout. This mean average cost of the Jarrah was $45 p/sqm for me. would of been the same cost had I chosen the wider boards. Hi All, see above image.
