Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jan 05, 2017 9:51 pm Hi Please help me. My tiler left and has left about a 6mm gap between the walls and tiles in my brand new bathroom. I've read the hazards of what can happen from the dab and dob method. . I'm disabled and dread the thought of slipping and putting out my hand to stop myself and going through where there's no glue! I have to find something to put around the walls to stop condensation, dust etc from going down into the cavities. Kind regards Suu Re: Help needed please for bathroom tile problem 3Jan 06, 2017 11:13 am Hi Jb. Thanks for your reply. I think my son may be able to do that as I don't want the tiler back. Would a piece of small plastic quad on top (after sealing the gap) look any good? I wish we could post a picture here. Re: Help needed please for bathroom tile problem 4Jan 07, 2017 1:12 am The the quad would make it more conspicuous as tiles/walls are never 100% straight/level/flush. Fill it with flexible tile glue on like a 45 degree angle. Then paint it (wall colour) it will blend in and you'll never notice it again. Possibly both depending on the sizing. Idea of working from the centre is that you dont have a 20mm thin tile at one end and a 400mm at the other end. A quick search on… 3 6199 All 3 items listed are defects and are of concern.
