I'm having a friend remodel my laundry. I am paying him but he is a friend.
I gave him a layout of what I wanted and also did a verbal "walk-thru"
I came home today and this is how my sink has been installed. I have a VERY small 200mm cupboard for it to fit into that butts up against the wall.
I was supposed to have an end panel on each side of the cupboard but he didn't put them on so the sink is so close to the splashback and it looks terrible, I wanted a bit of a gap between the sink and the wall.
I absolutely hate it and told him I didn't like it, and asked why he didn't use the end panels and he just said he didn't know they were there even though they are on the drawing which he didn't even look at obviously.
What can I do here? Will I need a new benchtop? Or can I just live with this looking like this?
