Hi Everyone,

We are on the verge of having our bathroom fully renovated. I have trawled through this site and many others for ideas and inspiration and finally decided on doing floor to ceiling tiles, dark brown on the floor and beige on walls. There will be a line of feature tile running slightly off centre to the middle ie a vertical stripe from the floor right up to the back wall to ceiling.

The majority of feature tiles that i have seen (in literally thousands of photos ::wornout:: ) tend to run the strip around the room horizantally.

Soooo, I would love to hear what your thoughts are when it comes to feature tiles. And please feel free to include pics - can't get enough of looking at people's bathrooms at the moment!!

Cheers

First build we had a horizontal stripe and in this place we have no stripe. My choice was to use feature tiles in the shower niche and between the mirror and vanity.

Very nice!!! It's a lovely way to highlight a niche too! Is that three different bathrooms?? Our vanity basin is similar to the first pic. Well, our reno has started, so far so good. Thanks for sharing your pics!!

The first two vanities are in the bathroom and ensuite before the mirrors went in and the small vanity with mirror is outside the main toilet.
I just got so sick of using the loo and having to go and wash hands in the laundry because adult sons or assorted hangers on were using the bathroom so I vowed to make changes in this house.

I'm actually not a huge fan of floor to ceiling tiles, but found this room in a display home quite striking. (Excuse DD being in there, if I want a picture of her then she runs, of course as soon as I want a pic without her I can't get rid of her...)
