Hi there. I have a Brivis Contour Cooler in a 10 yo house and it is getting smelly. The pads have never been cleaned so I was going to give that a try before replacing them, but can't figure out how to get them out without major disassembly of the unit. If anyone has an instruction manual that would be great.
Also any suggestions where to buy new pads in melbourne would be good. I called Brivis and they couldn't help, which seemed odd...?

I'm pretty sire you aren't supposed to/allowed to service air con units without a license.
Also Brivis control of of the servicing of their equipment so they won;t help unless you pay to have one of their "approved" techs out and service it for you.

You don't need a licence to service an aircon system, but your right about Brivis they are not very forthcoming with info and push their service agents if you need anything done.

Thanks guys.
I did find instructions, it is very easy - just undo the screws on top to loosen it a little and the panels lift out in their frames, and the pads then just pull out.
If anyone is looking for new Celdek pads in Melbourne, call Metalflex. They are just over half the price of Brivis. 10 minutes to fit.
