I have a 2 storey home with almost half of it consisting of a cathedral ceiling (lounge area) . The problem I have is that at nights my family room , located on the ground floor and in the non-cathedral ceiling side, gets very cold. When the family is asleep ( bedrooms reside on the top floor) I do not require to heat them up also hence discomfort them immensely. The thermostat is located in the family room down stairs and ,as we know heat rises, hence the sauna effect occurs upstairs. I am happy to keep the family room / kitchen area / downstairs toilet as the primary zone and the bedrooms upstairs as the second zone. At this point of time I am unsure about which zone to place the study and the childrens study/play area downstairs . We also have a problem also with one bedroom getting very cold at nights. Your advise with respect to my above dilemma would be much appreciated. Have you the expertise to zone an existing system or do you know of someone I could get in contact to get a quotation on how much it will coat to zone my home? Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10105 4 11165 1 19708 |
